Well, my main reason for labioplasty was for urinary issues which so far seems to have helped, I'm still swollen. 3weeks post op a d drs. Are telling g me to be patient as far as the uneven looking appearance. Si I ha e a few more months the to see how it has healed. Overall my main concerns were my frequent uti's and uncomfortable tugging during intercourse and jeans which seem So far to be going ok minus the intercourse since I don't think Im ready for that anytime soon lol. But since I mainly did this for .medical reasons, I am overall pleased with the result, being I haven't had a uti a d usually I get one every month it seems. I'll have to wait a d see about the uneven looking labia results since it's too early to tell and I'm still swollen. Btw after decades of uti's my urologist suggested to me 5 years ago a labioplasty as a last resort since nothing has helped and I was tired of being on preventative antibiotics...which can't be good for u with long term use. Hope this helps!

Hi! I'm really considering a labiaplasty because I experience utis literally every month and im so tired of taking antibiotics as well. Just wondering if it's helped with preventing utis!

So far I'm on my 3rd month post op and no uti's to date. My urologist bk home suggested a labioplasty because we had exhausted every option, from cleansyness, antibiotics, widening my urethra etc, nothing helped so after decades of constant infections and visits to the ER I gathered up some money and had this done (because insurance wouldn't cover it, which is stupid, they consider it "cosmetic") it may be too early to tell but so far I haven't had one, usually I get them once every two months it seems. It helps me stay cleaner and I make sure to tell my part to wash up before we have intercourse , I'm super sensitive to getting uti's so that helps as well I tjink. Good luck!
