Currently, my eyelid skin is very loose and wrinkly as is under my eyes. I'm hoping to tighten my skin and get rid of these wrinkles around my eyes as well as above my top lip, have a smoother appearance. Is fully ablative CO2 laser right for my face or is it perhaps a little overboard for what I want?

Your skin looks flawless. Why mess with near perfection? I see nothing under your eyes except perfect skin. If i had your skin I would be quite happy.

Thank you so much. That is really nice of you.

I agree. You don't need it.

I really do appreciate everybody that took a minute to leave me a comment. I did choose to go ahead with the procedure and I'm very happy with the results, even though all of my friends and family told me not to do it. I guess I am my own worst critic because other people don't seem to see what I did? Just thankful it's over now!

Your skin looks good to me. Co2 laser seems like overkill. Have you gotten any second opinions? I would, maybe you could just address your eyes and upper lip if those are the areas that concern you. I would think that there could be less aggressive treatments. Good luck.

Second opinion tomorrow. I appreciate your comment, thank you.

what did you apply after procedure?

Directly after the procedure I literally applied nothing but Vaseline and did vinegar soaks every few hours. When I reached the point where I was allowed to wash my face they gave me some post-procedure facial wash and really fabulous face cream that I still use everyday. I just changed to Cetaphil facial cleanser in the last 3 days.

You look amazing. I am 49 and have a few more facial flaws than you were starting with before the laser. I just received a quote for the same procedure in the Bay Area here in California. 7k for the ablative Co2 laser $1800 for a tca peel for the neck and I hope it includes the chest and then over 1k for the surgery room. Then of course they want you to do Botox in three areas a few weeks before the procedure so when the modeling of the new collagen doesn’t form into the old wrinkles. So really I am looking at 11k plus. Do you think I should travel and use your doctor. Just the cost is such a big difference. I wondered if the cost you posted included everything.

The cost I paid included everything. I guess if they really want that much where you're at may be traveling wouldn't be such a huge gash to the wallet? They were having a special the month of April which knocked $500 off the regular price and because I was a returning patient I also got a discount of $400... but even if I'd paid 4500 it's a hell of a lot better than 11,000!!

Thanks so much for your quick response and I was thinking the same thing myself. A hotel for a week or two may not be so bad. I am really impressed with how fantastic it all came out. I am sure you are thrilled as well. Just gorgeous. I am so happy it turned out so well.

Read your post, just wondering how you are healing. Do you think the Ablative CO2 laser is
worth the money and time spent?
May 2, 2018
I really am happy with the outcome. The healing process was much quicker and less painful than it looked and of course the cost was rather expensive but I would say that in the end, it was worth it.

You look awesome! Was it painful and very expensive?

Thank you ! $3500 and the pain was only the first 20 minutes after I left the office. Pretty quick healing considering the looks of it.
