How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

No Kids 38FF 32 Yr Old Had Severe Back Pain
Ok so I read all these damn reviews and you either hear it was a breeze or thugs you can’t relate to.
Prior surgery/pain I felt I have been thru:
Cyst removal bier block right wrist 1-10 pain
Fisher and henmroid removal anesthesia 6-10 pain
Cat bite emergency hand surgery joint 8-10 during surgery bc I had no meds
Ovarian cyst bursting 7-10 pain
Torticollis 10-10 pain I literally passed out
That said that’s all the pain I’ve experienced in my life that’s notable
I asked for percoset Valium and verset ahead of time knowing I am a control freak - engineer here
I have no pain threshold. I can’t handle pain at all. And not one gal on here saids that. I don’t even want to have kids bc of the pain.
This noted - I was petrified but Valium helped a little bit the night before and day of. I recommend a muscle relaxer for night to help with sleep. Sleeping was hard bc I wasn’t nervous but my body wouldn’t shut down
I was ok waiting in the room and staff was nice and friendly and dr liebscher was amazing and used comedy to calm you. I needed surgery for severe back and neck pain and signs of possible arthritis in my back
I only lost it and started to histerically cry when the anethesiologist left as I found out I had to walk into the surgical room which was one of my biggest fears. They gave me verset right then which stopped me crying immediately and another dose when I reach the surgical room. I only remember at this point being Told to sit on table and then I have a vivid dream that my surgery wasn’t that day but a week from then. That’s how I woke up. Thinking I was in a dream was so damn surreal
Honestly not to scare anyone but it goes to show not all pain meds are created equal but they had me on some pain med that started with a “F” which was stronger than percoset but wasn’t touching the pain at all so I had severe amount of pain waking up as I basically wasn’t on a pain med when I woke up and I lost it and was beyond crying. Couldn’t breathe because every breath hurt. They finally gave me a percoset and that worked. Pain went from a 11/10 to a 3/10 in 30 mins. Big jump. Why percoset did it and it was a lesser amount of pain Ned is beyond me but then again my body has reacted strangely to random meds before.
Look - Stay on top of your meds and prepare if your anxious do as I said. Pain is under breasts and under arm pits. Sharp pain or sore like you just worked out your chest.
All these woman on here say it’s easy but i was a 38/F - sometimes FF and went to a C and this is how it felt. I feel like I am an average woman and I want to prepare you. I’m laying in bed and pain is a 0. Hope this helps! Oh and I’m a stomach sleeper. So yeah I have 4 pillows laid out and two on my sides and this allows me to take my body into thinking I’m on my side and belly
Worth it I just had surgery today.
Don’t be a hero take your meds. Ice packs.
I took couch pillows and kind of huddled into my couch for sleep when I got home. I currently have 0-10 pain but it’s sore like someone smacked you or a good workout. I have good motion moving as long as I’m medicated.
Hope this helps. I’ve never had a kid and was tired of reading things as it’s not right for average wimps like me and I seriously have no threshold for pain.
Oh and sit up bc the pain goes away if you do. And yes my pain in my back and neck is literally gone same day and yes I’m on meds but the pressure is gone. No more pain shooting into neck and forehead.
I fought having this surgery for ten years. It was worth it already. Verset helps a ton of you’re a sever anxious person like me.
