I have wanted a breast reduction since I was 16. Its a shame I waited this long, it has been the best decision I have ever made!

Having large breasts came with more cons than pros for me. The weight of them, the trouble finding bras that really fit, unwanted attention and comments regarding the size. I could go on and on. Honestly now, after the surgery I cant even think of ANY pros.

I saw 2 surgeons before deciding on the 2nd. I do think it i worth seeing more than one surgeon before locking one in. The first surgeon I saw was amazing but I went with the 2nd because I felt like the consultation was more personal. My surgeon used words like 'for you' 'with your breasts' etc. Though it may sound small, it made a big difference in my decision. I didnt feel like just another set of breasts.

I had my surgery a week ago today. Im finding that im healing alot quicker than I expected to. Day of the surgery I was very tender and swollen as expected. I do remember waking up from surgery and first thing looking down my gown and saying 'oh my! Theyre so small!' Instantly I noticed the weight off my shoulders. The surgeon removed a combined weight of 1280grams! (1.3kg) Hearing that shocked me and made me realise just how big and heavy my breasts were.

I am over the moon at my new breast size! I havent been this small since I was 15! So overwhelmed at how amazing I feel looking at my reflection. I have started trying on different pieces of clothing just to see how differently they fit now. I had a beautiful top my partner bought me last year and it wouldnt fit over my chest back then. I can finally wear it! All these small things add up and every fibre of my being is beaming with joy!

Dont even get me started on bra shopping! Buying and fitting in to a 14c was a magical moment!

The pictures say it all.

You look really good!
Ghe shape and size look just right. Just for reference whats your height/weight? We look similar sized(your pre pics) and my dr. Thinks to take off 1200grams combined as well.

Yes! Feb16!
Very nervous, but excited! We are almost the same height/weight too! I am 160cm and 82kg. How is the pain now?

Oh yay! Dont be nervous, you'll feel amazing. You'll be bruised and sore but looking at yourself in the mirror will outweigh it all :)

Though I can relate to feeling nervous and exited at the same time. Its an odd feeling :)

The pain now is very good, have a bit of numbness and some tingling. Still swollen and bruises are yellow but fading.

It has been one month since surgery and I am feeling great! I celebrated my 28th Birthday on the weekend and was over the moon to beable to go out in a really low cut top for the first time ever feeling incredibly confident!

Healing is going well and I'm loving the way my breasts have settled into a really natural shape :)
