I have been wanting a flat tummy for awhile. My weight has went up and down my entire life. I am not small but I am disproportionate. The bottom half of my stomach is never changing and I have been told often it doesn't match my overal appearance. While I could stand to be smaller on the scale my surgeon didn't see my weight being a huge issue and was very comfortable with me proceeding with a full TT with Lipo. I am excited but so nervous. I know I need this to encourage me to keep exercising. I always fold up the gym equipment when the rest of me is firm and fit and then this horrible stomach is just sitting in my lap mocking me. Lol! Anyways, I feel bad for spending my money on me, but I know I will get back the confidence that I am lacking. Hoping for a speedy recovery and to feel better about myself!

I am nervous! The 16th is my big day! I am excited but worried about the pain and level of helplessness I will have to endure. I am looking forward to the flat side though!

How are you recovering?

I am good. I cannot lift more than 20lbs, or take a submerged bath in like a jacuzzi, but I feel good. Movement is key, the end of week two I was feeling good, now I feel normal, but just very restricted. When I get tired, I notice the sutures in my core ever so slightly, reminding me to take it easy, but nothing painful, and only when I have had a very active day. I will post more pictures as I go, I am just a modest person and it takes a lot of nerve for me to do so....lol.

Thanks. Mine is scheduled a month from now. I've had 2 c-sections, but am still nervous about the process and healing. Maybe it's the getting put under part.

I had a fantastic experience. Honestly, the going under part isn't a big deal, I was scared at first too, but when the moment came, I just drifted off to sleep. No biggie. My doctor said I am at the shrinking stage and try not to sweat the measurement until after my swelling subsides which is months apparently. My clothes fit me better. I don't regret it, and you won't either. There was more tissue removed in my case than fat, which is why so much weight came off of me. My stomach before doest look bad, but it looked like a busted can of biscuits that I couldn't conceal or suck in, now, I look normal. LOL
Don't feel bad about doing this for yourself. You deserve it and should do it. You are about to feel like a new woman once this is done!
You will be ok, the nerves come along with this process.
