Breast lift

Still looks as fab as the day the pictures were taken!

Got a bilateral mastopexy (breast lift) almost 3 years ago and I still often look down my blouse and can't believe they are really mine:) I've always had sagging breasts which only got worse with weight loss and gain from years past. They seemed to fall to the middle of my torso before the surgery so I was truly amazed and overjoyed at the result of my breast lift surgery. it's so remarkable that a skilled surgeon was able to take my existing breasts and turn them into what they are now. They are lifted, rounder and the nipples seem more proportionate to the size of the whole breast. Happy with them is such an understatement, especially after years of living with them as they were. Of course surgery is different for every person but I was up and about in less than 24 hours after my surgery. Didn't even bother with the pain killers. Six weeks until full recovery may seem like a long time but it goes by quickly and the results are more than worth that short time to feel fabulous for years to come. This is a great option for anyone who would prefer to not have implants and is happy with the size of her breasts, but would just like a nicer shape and lift to them. Would definitely do again!

My breast lift almost 3 years ago was the second surgery I had done by Dr. Ford. Having been absolutely thrilled with the results of my tummy tuck he'd done earlier that year, I had no reservations about Dr. Ford doing my breast surgery as well. I would not have considered anyone else in fact. One of the things that I always remember about my consult for this procedure was Dr.Ford's honesty and guidance. Originally, I had also wanted implants but he told me that what I needed was a lift and that implants would probably be unnecessary and even ill-advised for my body type. Of course the option for implants was always there and I certainly would have trusted him with that, but he was right about the breast lift. I was taken aback by the difference in my breasts after the lift, because Dr. Ford went well above and beyond my best expectations for this procedure. He didn't try to sell me implants just because I wanted them, but he gave me his expert opinion that the lift would be enough and that I'd be happy with it. He was absolutely right, only I wasn't just happy-I was in disbelief and completely thrilled at the result. As with my previous surgery, Dr. Ford and his wonderful office staff walked me through the procedure from start to finish: what to expect both pre and post-op, answered all my questions, and followed me closely after surgery. They made it as simple as day surgery can possibly be. I was operated on at Beth Israel Hospital in Milton, MA, an excellent and caring facility from the nurses to the anesthetists. Everyone was kind, attentive and reassuring. And the result is something I still can't believe today, thanks to the skill and experience and keen eye of Dr. Ford. I strongly recommend him to anyone who is interested in reshaping your body after weight changes, child birth or for your own personal satisfaction. You won't regret it but my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
