Final Procedure
WORTH IT$6,500
I had my permanent bridge put in (similar to having 6 crowns) and it is so wonderful!! The procedure lasted about 45 minutes because he wanted it to fit perfectly; having a dentist with OCD is not necessarily a bad thing. ;) It is made out of cubic zirconia and a few other materials, and it feels like glass. I chose the shade B1 because I did not want my teeth to look fake, I wanted them to have a very natural appearance even as I am aging. It was worth it to get the bridge from canine to canine instead of having implants done on the 3 missing teeth. I fear that the implants would not have matched my other teeth very well and it would have been noticeable to others. Plus, it saved me a couple thousand dollars to do it this way! I am very satisfied with my results and my dentist. The dentist told me I could bite apples, eat hard candy, and do whatever a person with real teeth can do.
A small note on hygiene: I bought some of those tiny flossing brushes (GUM brand), and I use them to clean between the bridge and my gums. Other than that, I just brush normally.
I hope this review will help others make a decision between a permanent bridge and dental implants. Please message me if you have any questions. :)

Shark Teeth and Mold
The first appointment consisted of filing down my 3 anchor teeth, taking molds of my mouth, and constructing a temporary bridge. I have super sensitive teeth, so they had to give me a total of 4 shots to keep me numb during the procedure. The whole ordeal took about 2 1/2 hours. The temporary bridge looks like something you would buy from Walmart during Halloween, but no one seemed to notice (thank goodness). I had to wait 2 weeks for my permanent bridge to come in, and the temporary started to come loose.

I have decided to have a permanent bridge put in...
I have decided to have a permanent bridge put in after 3 years with a partial denture following an accident. In 2012, I fell and had 4 teeth that broke as a result, and the dentist had to pull 3. I cannot stand this partial and I am beginning to get cavities and decay around the areas where the partial fits against my other teeth. I finally have enough money and I am looking forward to my initial appointment on Wed, Feb 18th, 2015! I already had the consultation and my dentist assured me that I will be very pleased with the permanent bridge. It will be amazing to have teeth that actually stay in again!!

I'm so happy for you girl! Can't wait to see your permanent bridge! Thank you so much for all your support! It meant a lot to me! I wish you the best!!! Please, stay in touch.
Thank you sweetie!! I hope you're doing well :)
I'm curious to know how your new bridge is performing. I had a 6-tooth bridge put on in April, and one of the teeth chipped after 5 days. A second tooth chipped after 2 weeks. The dentist just replaced the entire bridge, and it chipped while he was adjusting the bite. I'm extremely unhappy and wondered if it is caused from the stress of having 6 teeth connected to each other.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I haven't had any problems with mine at all, the material appears to be high quality and I am very satisfied with the results. I know my bridge is made of porcelain if that helps. Please let me know if I can help you.
