TA-DA! :) Done
Sorry I'm not the big blogger everyone seems to be BUT...thought I'd let you know I LOVE my Doctor, and although he is expensive, and doesn't really "run specials"...I'm glad I feel I went to the best. His staff was ALWAYS professional, responsive, understandable. There are no ridiculously LOOOONG waiting with hordes of people in his office. etc, etc. Very high end. ha ha no pun intended!
surgery went perfect, felt like crap when I woke up...owwwwww :( got to hotel. Had an ANGEL FROM HEAVEN care giver (certified health aid) Judith, and made it through that night okay.
I am one of the people who was just looking for a nice shape, had a few pics to show him what I like, and I said nice, round not huge hips since I have had those since I'm a bit heavy.....I said, just make it nice shape and appropriate size for my body. And Dr. Mendieta is the man, he is really the person in the world who has developed this procedure and the perfect ratio....and he loves behinds :) and guess what I find out?! I was given 1140 in each cheek!! EEEEK! I'm scared. I need to loose weight but I was aware of that before the surgery. My husband is thrilled so far. I just hope it's not too big in three months....feel free to comment.
I DO feel there needs to be a clean, comfortable, accessible, post recovery place and am thinking of starting one myself since it has been actually impossible to find. Of course if you have a million dollars, its not a problem, but for those who are not local and not millionaires it's very difficult to find. Really - how hard is CLEAN, fairly minimal necessities, a bed, clean sheets, TV, clean bath, nice to have a kitchen maybe or healthy, food brought in even for two meals....sustenance???? am I right?
Even an inexpensive hotel lets say low $100s ends up being like $150/night after taxes, right??
Anyway I LOVE DR MENDIETA and ALL his staff are top notch, and excellent, excellent, excellent!
Hi Ladies, I'm finally getting brave and getting a...
SO my expectation is a smaller waist, refined hip sculpture, fuller bottom, round an juicy but ,..not too much. I'm small 5' 2" and now :( about 133-135. Too much weight for my bone structure. I'm about 15-20lbs over my desired weight which is JUST PERFECT for the BBL! When your doctor says "don't loose a pound!" you know you're doing the right procedure first! LOL. I already have a small waist and from the back look shapely but a flatter but and squarer than anyone wants because my hips extend to above my hips...which all needs to be reshaped. So that is my expectation and of course, I've chosen the leader of female boo-ti-fi-ing, and body sculpting....DR. C. Mendieta!!!
I'm nervous and scared and am traveling between FL and VA in September for a week and still need to coordinate all those medical items so Dr. M can receive it prior to surgery date.
Provider Review
Dr. Constantine Mendieta is my final choice. He actually was my first choice but my husband wanted me to explore others, just to be sure. Which I tried my best to do. In some other posts I've explained the problems I encountered just trying to get consultations with some others. Basically two of the three others I never saw because they book appointments but they are evidently not real appointments because I waited from 45mins - 1.5 hours and still never saw those doctors. Another I was there for my appointment at 1:45 and finally at 3:30-3:45 I got to see dr. Fisher whom I was told usually wasn't in on that day and how lucky I was to get to see him. ??????????? dang, I made the damn appointment saying I wanted a consult with him, it was in advance a few weeks, what gives? Very strange. VERY DISORGANIZED and I just don't get it. Besides the fact I felt like I was in a cattle call with the amount of people waiting and appeared to be waiting VERY LONG. Dr. Mendieta's office was very professional. They saw me within a very reasonable wait time. Although they do charge for a consult, I find it reasonable to be able to get it back when and if you have surgery there by the doctor. He is a busy person time that is worth money like ALL OF OUR TIME, so I had no qualms paying it. You get what you pay for. His offices were clean, comfortable and I was actually put in a room where I could change and wait, and that is where a young lady took my weight, pictures and then shortly after where I met with Dr. Mendieta. Besides being a nice looking man, LOL, which I did happen to notice. :) He was easy and comfortable to speak with. I had been a year before and did not have many questions and found he didn't offer TOO much info. This second time around, I brought a list of questions and he patiently answered all I had. Never felt rushed. I do wish I brought a wish picture only so I could give him an idea of what I find attractive and hear what he might have said about if it worked or not on my body. My husband is all for this. I would ultimately like a flat stomach and a TT ...next year. I am afraid of getting a giant butt, I don't want that. I would like a shapely, rounded, a bit juicy bottom, nothing over the top. Something to compliment my body and look sexier. Afraid of getting it over done. We shall find out....I will be bringing my pics for surgery day. I was told to stay 10-14 days after the procedure in Miami. I live on the other coast. I was told not to loose any weight. not even a pound! Whoo - hoo.... that's not too hard. :) But I did want to start loosing weight. soon enough. I was told not to work out after the procedure until 2 months time. So I came home. Discussed with my husband, and called to set a surgery date for OCTOBER. My Coordinator who I thought was Pinina, was out of the office. It took three days and three calls to finally get in contact with her. When I did speak with her finally, she said I could always speak with anyone. I had no idea. She also said my coordinator was another woman and gave me the name of my medical coordinator, Andrea. Pinina sent me all the paper work via email scan and pages for signature. All was done by email. Andrea reached out to me the next day by email and I spoke with her over the phone also. She was very helpful. I am very pleased with the instructions I received which includes information on what to expect, what to purchase, warnings of smoking, and much more info but not so much that it's overwhelming. I felt they did a good job of summarizing the necessary and providing it.
