As a woman in my late 40s, I have worked on my health and appearance for decades. The older I get, the harder it is for me to look fit and trim, even though I workout routinely, manage my weight and eat properly. The main area that really bothers me is the appearance of my arms. Living in the South, I want to be able to wear sleeveless, but do not want to be the person with "bat arms" in the photos! I actually have found myself avoiding being in family photos because of my appearance - as that is the first place I look while viewing pictures! So, I spoke with someone else who had used Dr. Coco for their SculpSure procedure and they were very happy with the results. I contacted Dr. Coco and after listening to her explanation of the program and what it could do for me, I decided that this may be my chance for a "noticeable difference" in my appearance and the investment would be worth it. Especially for photos and sleeveless weather! Dr. Coco provided me with clear expectations of the procedure. The amount of time it was going to take, the fact that it will be uncomfortable and that it was not for weight loss, but for targeting problem areas. So, I made the decision to really focus on my arms. We did two procedures. The first 20 minute session was mildly uncomfortable. However, not unbearable. The second round was...let's just say, more intense. That said, Dr. Coco was right beside me, giving me instructions, a timer countdown as well as monitoring my wellbeing throughout that cycle. I had read that the arms are more sensitive than other areas so I expected some discomfort. Once the procedure was finished, I was sore but it felt like the "third day burn" after lifting weights or "arm day" at the gym. Dr. Coco gave me instructions to follow after my session and has contacted me weekly to make sure that I am progressing and had no issues. I am in my second week after the procedure. I am not imagining things, I already see a difference in my arms. I have been using hand weights each day as well as massaging the backs of my arms. I routinely use hand weights to work out, typically every day or every other day. Now, I feel like I have a real opportunity to see some results. I can't wait to see the results after 6 weeks, if I can see the benefits after two!
