i have been having aesthetic treatments since mid forties but the slight sagging of cheeks and jawline really bothered me even though no one else noticed. I researched thread lift and when one of my salons I use started to do it I was very excited. Unfortunately or fortunately I was told I couldn't have it done as I didn't have enough sag and my doctor recommended radiesse. I researched and was a bit nervous as there are some negative reviews but I am so happy with the results. Two vials were used some to lift the cheeks and the rest around jawline. I had swelling and some bruising for a few days but now it is great and looks so natural. In fact much more than when I just had a small amount of filler in the cheeks. You just need to find a very experienced injector. It's definitely the best procedure I have had done.dr

Pamela Benito is outstanding. She is honest and if she feels something won't work or won't be suitable she will let you know. I always enjoy seeing her. She works from Azamay in Cockfosters

Thanks for sharing the details- we love to know it all!  Sounds like you are happy that you went with the filler over the thread lift after all.

I am so pleased with it. I would definitely advise looking into radiesse. Some clinics may recommend the thread lift with minimal sagging but I am lucky I have a doctor who is very honest about what will or won't work

It is always nice to find a doc that can recommend the best treatment for each individual.  I'm glad you are happy with your results, congrats.

update on radiesse

suziest
its five months later and unfortunately the radiesse lift didn't last. In fact instead of being long lasting the effects started going down hill after three months. A lot of money for a short term result. Apparently if you regularly exercise this can have an effect on the filler I am definitely wanting to try the threadlift now

Hi there. I had radiesse 2 months ago and hate the results. Is there anything you did that you think might have made the radiesse go away faster? I was wondering if you do exercise regularly and when you started to see the radiesse start to disappear? Thank you very much for your help

i started see it disappear about five months later. It didn't go complete,y but the lift that I liked wasn't as sharp. In fact I have just had a touch more. Where did you have it injected and what didn't you like?
June 7, 2015
I had it injected in my chin to make my chin bigger cause I didn't like my profile but now my profile is better it looks horrible from the front like I have a shrunken mouth. It's really bad looking and makes my mouth look old :/ I really didn't need it and only realise that now. I hope mine goes away within 5 months. At 3 months did you see arrest decrease? Did you massage the area or do anything like that?

Maybe something like rf and microcurrent will help. Its important to find a good injector who doesn't overdo. How much did you have injected?
June 8, 2015
What is rf? I had 0.7ml injected :( how much did you have? Are you a heavy exerciser?

Radio frequency I had two vials originally which have 2ml each. I had all around jawline and some to lift cheeks. I exercise about four to five hours a week. I was happy with the results and the top up I have just had but you definitely need a good injector. I di a lot of research on who I use. I am sure it doesn't look as bad as you feel it does. Did you go back to the injector and tell them

It just looks really puffy to me. I don't know how 0.7ml can make such a huge difference but I had quite dainty features and a small chin to start so it has made quite a difference. It's not even so much the volume, it's where she put it. It looks unatural. Like an unnatural ridge. Sometimes I think it doesn't look too bad but recently on a couple of nights out it looks a lot worse in pictures!!! So bad. Maybe it's just because I am focusing on it. Anyway I hope mine starts to go away after 3 months!! But it's always the way that now I don't like mine it will probably last for years and the fact that you like yours means it doesn't last very long in you! Such is life. Did you see no difference until after 3 months? I look at it every day hoping it will go down. I will be at 3 months post in another 3 weeks :/

I hope it does go down. Maybe do some massaging. Unfortunately there are bad injectors who don't really understand the product. They should have really used a hylaronic based one as you had never had before. Good luck with it
