Got to wear makeup today!!
I had to take a group pic today, and decided I would put makeup on, though Dr. Sweis wanted me to wait until two weeks post laser. I’m sooooo impressed with my smooth skin and wrinkle-less face.

Wow, looks great with or without makeup. Also, taking care of your body makes you look young head to toe.

Awww. Thx. This pic was taken yesterday at the gym. My virgin application of makeup after the laser. My gym friends were in awe with my new complexion.

You look amazing. How does the CO2 laser compare to a 30% TCA peel?

CO2 is more invasive. It removes more sun damage, pigment changes and fine lines. It also tightens the skin and softens deep wrinkles. The downtime is usually much longer than a peel. Laser peels are generally more expensive too. It's not a question of which is better... it's more of what your needs are.

Randi, you look fabulous! That laser has given you brand new skin! You Dr Sweis is an artist with the laser! Do you feel it tightened your skin too? I have rosacea and wonder if I'm a good candidate for this procedure. Plus I'd have to figure out how to hide from the world for a good week! I'm so thrilled for you! Thanks so much for generously sharing your journey with all of us! You have such beautiful skin!!!

Hi Ms. Grosse Pointe!!
Thx for stopping by to leave such kind words. Yes, the laser was just what my skin needed. It helped with fine lines, sun spots, acne scars, AND definitely tightened my skin!!
I'm not sure if you're a candidate for this procedure... I'd assume your p. s. would be your best resource for this information.
I would say that you need at least ten days of hibernation with this procedure.. IMHO!!

Hi. The laser was definitely intense, but, OHHHH so worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to reduce fine lines, redness or discoloration. It does cause some discomfort, but it's tolerable during the procedure.
