3 month mark

$2,500
Still struggling to see improvement. Doesn’t help that i still get breakouts around that time of the month. Also since having my boys my skin wants to act like a teenager again. I’ll be going for a second treatment in sept or oct. so I’ll keep updating. I’m hoping the second treatment will yield more results. I will just be doing my cheeks and not my whole face like I did the first round. Also considering microneedling w prp after the second round. Pictures are with bare minerals bronzer and mascara. Nothing crazy.

Did you ever see good results?
You should look into a PicoWay Resolve treatment. It is great for treating scarring, fine lines and wrinkles as well as pigment without the downtime of a Co2 Laser. It is truly an amazing treatment. And safe for all skin types.
you should try a different doctor, these results are no good, I seen on youtube dr. Lynn his patients have dramatic results after one session, ur scars weren't destroyed at all, they might have used a different type of laser

Update just past 1 month mark

So I feel like my skin still looks the same. Haven’t noticed any real difference expect for looking ‘refreshed’. Still have those darn grid marks esp on my left temple area/cheek where they went very heavy. I started using a retinol serum so I’m having a little purging going on on my neck area which is driving me insane. Trying to be patient bc I know results take a while with this procedure. Luckily makeup covers my gridmarks for the most part. Trying to be more vigilant with a skin care routine and I think that is helping. Sorry for the super bright lighting.

Is collegen supposed to “grow” so to speak, over time to “fill” the acne holes? I recently had a halo for this reason but still see holes too. So I wondered if the procedures were the same in that way
I think college should start to reproduce and ‘fill in’ the scarring. That’s what it sounded like to me ?!what is halo?
Haha. That’s what it sounded like to me too but I’m soooo impatient. Halo is a hybrid laser. Check it out on here. For $1500 I sure hope I see some more improvements over time bc right now I’m feeling totally discouraged. On the positive, it did remove all/most of the sun damage pigmentation issues I had but my major concern was the scarring! Pls keep us updated on your progress. I’ll have to post my review later today on halo so far.
Yes keep me updated! I need to do an update myself again bc it’s about my 3 month mark. I saw improvements with fine lines and i looked refreshed but it’s hard for me to Tell about the scarring bc i stare at it daily. Ugh
I know you don't see it but from just the posted photos I can see improvements - please update with new photos - so far I see great improvements
I’m not sure if you are wearing makeup in the last photo but I see a fairly dramatic improvement. Maybe you need more treatments to completely eliminate the acne marks but I think you look great.
Thank you. I was wearing some bare minerals. I am getting a second treatment in sept or oct so I’ll add those to the review as well. I need to do another update for my 3 month mark.
Did they tell you you had to get a third treatment and you have to pay full price because I am getting the CO2 Fractional laser resurfacing Periorbital / faded to cheeks .. no one said anything about more then one treatment?!? I was told it lasts 7-10 years.ONLY IF I stay on the hydroquinone / Melamix and RetinA. I am hoping you are getting a discount? I promise you wholeheartedly the ZoSkin Melamix w RetinA will improve 100% of what you are seeing/feeling. I hope they told you about hydroquinone and all of its importance before/ after laser to maintain decreased hyper-pigmentation
I had no inkling Of more then 1! Treatment. I’m so nervous for Monday!!
I would definitely use Zo Skin Melamix / it’s a topical hydroquinone .04% mixed w RetinA .05 every night. Then take a 2 month break. It’s the best. Then I do MelaminC in am that’s amazing. It’s a skin bleaching cream. It’s just amazing the Melamix is $60. Very affordable. Lasts 3-4 months at 2 pumps a night. The MelaminC is one pump in am lasts 4-5 months. It’s a RX so you can’t overuse. And it’s amazing to even out .. blotches- acne scars etc... my laser surgery .. is Monday 23rd @11 I’m getting so nervous. So you really aren’t happy. I think you look great. But I haven’t seen a before
I will see if i can get these! Thanks for the info!
Definitely!! It has turned my “baby oil hell no spf teen years” lol face 100% better no joke. Now you do have to get it through a prescription through either a plastic surgeon or Dermatologist / MedSpa esthetician that carries the ZoSkin ( Obagi) products.. they are phenomenal especially the evening one, Melamix/ hydroquinone used along side ,5 or ,25 ( I had to start with the .RetinA .25 first- my skin needed to used too it because I have extremely sensitive skin) then I switched up to that .5 mixture. And the rule of thumb is if you use your pointer finger your Retin-A should only be half of the tip to first line ( or joint)then your Melamix is two pumps and then you use your fingertips to swish it together and apply all over your face neck and décolleté and then whatever’s left you can gently brush over your eyelids gently at the end you’ll let it dry for an hour and then put on a moisturizer if you need it which I always do. Melamix is affordable.. $60 lasts minimum 4 months. The MelaminC .. is the expensive one. $150. But if you had to choose between either I would take the nighttime one And then maybe one day unless you can afford it right away save up to get the other for the MelaminC. It will drastically change your skin complexion it’s like a miracle cream and you can’t overuse it because it is a prescription and like moisturizers which everyone can overuse I mean I can go through one in a week not anymore but I could I try my best to make things last three months .. I try....but it’s 100%% worth the $60!! To even out your skin tone. I kept asking my friend who had been using it when will I see you change and she would say just wait it’s like magic and then all of a sudden within a month or so my skin just became so clear and blotch free and sunspots stated freckles faded pretty amazing stuff !!
Please excuse any grammar or spelling corrections because I’m voice activating LOL I saw I had kind of 1 million of them Herhee
Collagen does grow back extremely slowly it takes up to a year especially around the eyes
I would suggest getting Juvaderm or Voluma ( when on sale (lol) it’s so expensive !! I have never used it myself but after my laser surgery Perry orbital on Monday they said they’d like to do that in two weeks after depending upon the special meaning it better be less than a grand
I definitely see a significant improvement in your scarring. How long did it take for the waffling to resolve itself, if I may ask?
It took a good few weeks. I actually still have some in one small area. It fades slowly.

Day 10 post CO2 laser resurfacing

It’s been pretty status quo for me. I’ve been trying to stay out of the sun even though it’s *finally* gorgeous outside. I’ve been using spf 30 + and some of my bareminerals. I still have scarring I honestly wish it would just vanish but know it will take time to see results. I keep having to remind myself of that. I have noticed my face has a smooth feeling finally. Before it felt very ‘textured’ to me. I’m sad I cant use my normal makeup liquid foundation it just looks wonky on my skin. I’m still dry in some areas(can see when i have makeup on) and trying to moisturize as much as possible. I still have the waffle marks on the cheeks but they are slowly fading. I’ll keep posting updates. Sorry it’s been a little bit- it’s been kinda boring !

Plssss update soon contemplating of getting C02 resurfacing and it gives me satisfaction seeing someone else go threw it and have positive results so I can have hope for better days
I will try and update as much as I can. Results take 3-6 months so it’s sadly a long process. I do see some improvement but still have my scarring. Hoping they will start to improve. I will keep posting as time goes on. I’m also going to be going for another ‘touch up’ treatment probably in late August or September as well. It’s definitely smoothed my face and has given me a ‘refreshed’ look that I’ve noticed.
Hi! you look great...I see a major improvement! I’m in the Worcester are too, can I ask where you had this done? I have quite bit of scaring, and some pitting, but I honestly don’t even know where to start. Apparently her are different kinds of lasers too? Did you o a Loy of research? for some reason this procedure scares me a little...
sorry it’s really hard to post comments on this site, not to mention I’m on an iPad!!
Hey! I went to skin MD. I did do a lot of research before and I figured I would give this a try. I know since my scarring is old I am going to have to have more than 1 type of treatment. I am looking into microneedling next. And maybe some fillers. Keep me posted with what you do! I’d love to know and see! Having these scars totally stinks. I’ve had them for years and I got pretty ‘used’ to them but I still want them minimized. I know they will never be ‘gone’ but every little bit helps.
I’m interested in Microneedling too, trying to find out more about it first. I haven’t seen anything on RealSelf...but I’m looking. You look really great!
