CO2 Laser Not Healing Properly

Today is 2 days post my fractional laser and I think I made the biggest mistake of my life.
Can someone tell me if this is normal...
I’m freaking out, every YouTube review I’ve seen isn’t anywhere near as scary as my experience

Well I had fractional co2 and it looked the worst on the second day. However, I don't really see similarities to mine in this picture...how is it now? Did it get better? I wish you all the best
Update us on how you are doing
I had pro-fractional laser on Jan. 15, 2021 to my full face. I had several superficial veins pop during the procedure, so I had some bleeding and oozing for several days. Give it time, do your cleansing, use vinegar water soaks and keep your balm on it. My swelling is now gone, as is much of the redness (which I had in big blotches in various places on my face). That was because the teck went deeper in areas where I needed & wanted it. My face is now slightly itchy, but I am using 1% cortisone cream on those areas, and I still have some red blotches, but they are fading in color. Actually going out in public right now isn't so bad since we have to wear our masks! I will try and post my pictures (which looked horrible from day 1). When I came in my house and my husband saw me, he was horrified. I truly looked like I had been made up for a horror movie. LOL
I was wanting to get rid of lots of brown sun spots and tiny wrinkles around my mouth and chin. If you are worried snap a pic and send to your provider and ask questions. It is not an instant thing with this type of laser treatment and your face should keep improving for 3-6 months. Good luck!
What did your pre treatment pix look like? If you had scars that were aggressively treated, this wouldn't be too out of the ordinary..
Why not contact your technician to ask them and put your mind at ease.
In the meantime eat healthily, plenty vitamin C and zinc rich foods, water and try to relax, ..laser is a heavy duty treatment.Best wishes.
