CO2 Laser for Deep Acne Scars

I came to Coastal Wellness MD for treatment of deep acne scars and had a CO2 laser session with Dr. Shery. During the consultation, she carefully evaluated my skin and explained how the treatment works by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen production and resurface damaged layers.

On the day of the procedure, a numbing cream was applied to keep me comfortable. The treatment itself was very manageable, and Dr. Shery was precise and attentive throughout. She recommended a series of sessions at a medium depth and strength to gradually improve the scars while allowing proper healing between treatments.

After the procedure, I experienced redness and a sunburn-like feeling for the first couple of days, followed by some dryness and light peeling as my skin started to renew. I was given clear aftercare instructions, which made the recovery process easy to follow.

I am very glad I found her. Her guidance was thoughtful and realistic, and I felt confident in the plan she created for my skin. I am looking forward to continuing my sessions and seeing further improvement.
