Day 4
WORTH IT
Adding some more pictures of the severe swelling (this is with icing!!)
The doctor called in some prednisone/steroids for me which I started taking on day 2
Day 2 was the worst!!
Day 3 rapidly improving :)
Hoping for great results!
What I've learned --- for best results people add PRP at the time of lasering (this wasn't offered to me)
SkinMedica has a product called TNS repair which helps to promote collagen and I am buying tomorrow
Right now skin feels very raw but is not really tender anymore, mild swelling which is worse in the morning. I have ZERO static or dynamic crows feet

You’re looking great. Day 3 for me was the worst. C02 lasers have a long down time.
Do you think this gave you the lift in your eye area you were looking for?
Did they not tell you it would look worse before it gets better?
Hello, how did it turn out? Thanks!

So far extremely upset
The part I was most concerned about (metal eye shields) was really no big deal. You don't feel anything and they go in and out super fast! That's pretty much the only positive thing I can say right now. I don't feel the procedure was adequately explained to me because I was not expecting anything near what happened.
For starters, I was told that they scheduled my appt. for 60 min instead of 90 min. I told them I'd be happy to reschedule because I didn't want to be rushed. I was told no worries, they could handle it and wouldn't affect outcome. So numbing cream went on. The procedure itself wasn't bad but the machine sounded scary, I had to hold my OWN "cold air" because they were short staffed (OMG!), I couldn't see where to hold the air because I had the metal shields in... the laser hurt 5-8/10 depending on the area. Tattoo IMO is worse.
After the procedure I went into a mild shock, my body was shaking, I got very dizzy and almost passed out. They had to get smelling salts.
After the procedure, they swelling wasn't too bad and I was 1000% on point with aftercare. The pic with makeup is "before" the one on top is 7 hours after the procedure.
I woke up today and I look deformed. I was not anticipating this much swelling . I slept upright, have been icing and doing everything right.
I called my nurse and no answer. I called the med spa and am getting the run around. "We'll call you back." Well, it's been about an hour and a half with no response. I really feel like I need a prescription steroid and I hope I'm not permanently disfigured. I would cry but I physically cannot.
To be continued...

Sorry for what happened. But don’t panic. You are recovering fine. Sleep with your head elevated. Maybe the other 2 treatments, you should try plastic surgeon. I’m personally done with the med spas for procedures like that.
Ps, they say the 3rd day is actually the worst. I had the deep co2 done on whole face, and eyes, with anesthesia and that swelling looks similar to me. At the 3rd day.
How are you doing ??
MUCH better, posted update!
CO2 true CO2 can't be done with just numbing cream and can only be preformed by a Doctor, not a nurse or medical aesthetics.its illegal.. This sounds more like fraxel. For the eyes they would have given you a block and for the whole face , legally it requires an anesthesiologist. That's how true CO2 is preformed
Yep True C02 is Ablative therapy. Far more drastic procedure, therefor far more significant and long lasting results. Fraxel, which is a trade name, has a number of lazers. Fraxel Repair is their only Co2. Fraxel Restore is none ablative, Many people get Fraxel and Fractional misunderstood. Fraxel is a company, Fractional is a type of Lazer technology which is shared by many companys.

39 Years Old, Crepey and Lax Eyelid Skin
I'm getting a "Madonna eye lift" this Friday. I'm kind of anxious about the huge metal contacts that need to go in the eyes. I'm hoping to avoid a surgical belpheroplasty. If anyone has any recommendations for post-care I would love to know any tips!

How did it go? I have the same fear about the contacts too. Also, in my city, I’m a brow lift is almost the same price as the Madonna lift so kind of contemplating brow lift instead.
Hi, I posed an update.

Seeing a massive difference already! How exciting, let us know what you think of the TNS repair too!
