Its kinda acceptable i don't feel traumatized and the side is sleek and cute

"I don't wish to be contacted by the doctor's team neither reveal any personal information, i have sent the receipt of deposit payment to realself moderators to verify me and i don't wish to go in any debates, tbe doctor did his best but big thick skins can't just be done in closed approach"

For those who asked for photos, he didn't post my photos I guess because there wasn't much change.

I do see what you mean when you say nothing much has changed. During my research of a rhinoplasty surgeon I found that if I wanted much change to my nose I didn’t believe Dr Bora Ok was the correct surgeon because it seems he provides just smaller versions of the same nose.
Hello, Daniella. We sent a direct message multipl times but could not have any respond. Could you please write your exact surgery date ? We wanted to look your files, preoperative consultation and surgery notes but we couldn’t find your name (if your name is Daniella) on files and records for rhinoplasty at 2017 in our clinic. Also asked the clinic that Dr Bora worked with at that time did not have a patient name Daniella who had nose surgery. Also there was no photo that match this preoperative look at archives. If you can send your exact surgery date we can look again the archives also pleasure to help if you are seeking for. Best regards.
I think your tip is more droppy post op.
Which surgeon actually did that?! It looked better in your ID photo. The nostrils look way more exaggrated.
Not to worry though, it might settle down while swelling subsides.
Good luck!

Closed Rhinoplasty is Not the Best Option for Thick Noses

the whole experience is not bad but not what i expected either, i had a thick nose with a bulbous tip and the tip was low, i i never liked it, i did my operation in 2017, the whole experience was amazing really in terms of recovery and hotel and hospital, for recovery i started breathing from second day and the pain was similar to having cold, nothing dramatic, the doctor is really friendly and was great in after surgury care etc etc but when i removed the cast i was surprised that i looked exactly the same, even all my friends and family told me that my nose is still big and the operation was not necessary and here are the negative sides:

-closed rhinoplasty has some how a way in sewing from the inside that would block your breathing, i'm really struggeling now with breathing.

-ii'm suffering now from something called nostrills collapse, because my skin was thick and my nose was big so the inside change couldn't support the extra thick skin so now the tip is falling and the nostrills are collapsing. it should have been operated in the open method to cut the extra parts and make it possible to be supported and stay high

on the other hand my nose is kind of higher now but still with weird nostrills and still big for my face.

i don't say that Dr Bora is bad i think he is very good and very experienced but he was not sincere in doing the easy closed rhinoplasty on my big nose because i asked him for a specific results.

i will definetly recommend him if you have the nose hump and you have thin skin because it's easy to be done by closed rhinoplasty and you will recover really fast and the cost is good, or if you want a very natural look with small noticable change, or if you are african with small flat nose it will be easy to create a tip bu closed rhinoplasty but if you have a big bulbouse fat nose then open rhino is the only option, for me if i wanted a natural change i would have just changed my hair cut and not fly and do the surgury. now i have to do a revision to correct the breathing and get my desired look.

Hey doll. I’m so sorry to hear that you were mislead. But I’ve been trying to warn dolls of some of the exact things you have stated in your review. Everyone thinks I’m crazy and calls me ridiculous for pointing out facts of a doctor I’ve never went To. I just wrote a post regarding my research on dr bora and the need for open rhinoplasty on thick noses and that he gives the same nose like you never had anything done. Also rib cartilage is needed in African American bridge building, not cadaver, silicon, or ear cartilage to support the thick skin. Hope the next journey is the best journey for you
Hello, off course everyone can write and discuss their ideas at internet for any subject including sports, music, art, surgeries etc.. it is not problem for me if there is no disrespect and attack on purpose personally ....maybe here is not enough for detailed explanation but i can give some information, sorry if my English is bad... open or closed rhinoplasty technics do not change the skin type,. We are making skin defatting which sometimes need for better redraping at rhinoplasties we can do more and safer with closed nose job with less risk of blood supply violation to the tip. You can read from my web site. I am making closed rhinoplasty not a classic way which you may not see your research also not a casual way which needs a lot of experience if a doctor used to open approach needs time for used to it. I am making exactly same stitching and grafting technics that made in open rhinoplasty if needed and less because skin provides a good coverage at closed rhinoplasty. But off course not everytime doing the same thing because try to individualized the surgery. We have 25-30 ethnic rhinoplasty patients every month, treated in our clinic and each person needs different things. Closed rhinoplasty provides better pockets for grafting and needs less stitching then open rhinoplasty which results with less swelling and faster healing . Thick and darker skin prone to notching at the columella also bad scarring is another risk at open rhinoplasty that we avoid at closed rhinoplasty. By that way we have zero risk for that problem. I am seeing bad scarring and notching at columella everyday at patients who had open ethnic rhinoplasty before and they are complaining about, so closed approach is an approach which prevents this. It doesnt mean, it happens always but it is not about the drs ability everytime, it is about healing. I always respect the choice of the dr and every dr must do a technic which feels comfortable and thinks better for their patients. But this is my way of making this surgery. Fresh frozen rib cartilage (MTF, USA) is the thing that not just me , all around the world doctors using with less morbidity and postoperative comfort and there is no extra risk for wrapping, or absorbtion then own cartilage. It is not a classical irradiated cartilage...You may see problems in own cartilage too but we have some technics to reduce this also i wrote detailed info about which you can see at my web site in near future. Off course that is not the only option and i am using rib cartilage if my patients want it to use. As a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon and member of ISAPS,ASAPS,RSE it is not an issue for me to use ribs which i used hundreds time at reconstruction of the nose, ear and aesthetic purposes. But we try to give good result with faster healing and less risks also more comfort at aesthetic surgery and this is just an option which my hundreds of patients are so happy without any extra pain, discomfort, risk of pnemothorax, graft depletion for possible revisions in the future and scars on their body. I never use implants but taking out frequently and reconstruct the ethnic noses a lot which implants placed at other institutes especially for Asian patients. Sorry for my mistakes at English
Best regards
Thank you for the information. I appreciate it
I am sorry but what does he mean by “Frozen Rib Cartilage”??!!
I’m not sure doll as dr taskin uses fresh rib cartilage. It may be referring to cadaver cartilage. Which is a dead persons bones which will probably be frozen. Google May have more information on that
Can you post images so that we can have something to go on please. I have thick skin and am considering Dr Bora or Taskin. I have been in contact with both.

**Removed comment per user's request**

No he didn't post them because I guess there were not good, I have posted photos, hopefully would be helpful.
if you have thick skin, please search for a specialist in open rhino. Get more from people who have been transformed by the doctor who have similar situations like you. Be sure of the doc customer care. i have a bump and at the same time i cant reach the doctor. and one lady in America i was with cant too. numbers blocked 3 months in line. we are left to find other doctors or to use real self for support. Honestly these surgeries are good but let us think twice before ad regretting is painful.
You should choose taskin tbh
I was recommended Taskin but I was convinced by bora after speaking to him on watsapp. But I regretted after when I met a patient of Taskin with s small nose and big change and myself with more or less no much changes .my photos were
Not posted because there is no changes .
You can always post your own pictures on realself, the pictures belong to you. My Rhinoplasty with him was very very good but he didnt post them either but post the ones of a woman who he did the day before. Your review is in my eyes very malicious and dishonest. And I find it incredible to see people having opinions about things they have no knowledge about like @Ethnic Rhinoplasty ....Closed approach is the reason I choose It is actually better than for dark skin. Even in Turkey, He has an excellent réputation. You can hardly find someone like him.
This is incredible correct what Daniella wrote . I am having the same problem. I did closed rhino with doctor Bora in December. On the same time one side of the bridge is not straight. i have something like a hump on one side. I did rhino on the same time with a lady who had a thin and nose and needed correction of only small hard part on the bridge and to reduce the width. he posted her photos so fast and mine were never posted because of the results which can not be differentiated before and after. For Africans nose please try to find more before you go for rhino. I am regrettiing too having a closed rhino on African thick nose. I think doctor Bora is ok. But for the nose that is not as thick as our African noses. For open rhino, before you do it, be sure the doctor has been doing and that is his expat. don't be carried by posted photos on line. they deceive a lot. Be sure the doctor has customer care after the op. Other wise you feel dumped after an op that does not give best results and you have paid a fortune for it.
Do you have photos??
