WORTH IT
I had a closed septorhinoplasty with Prof. Palma almost 10 months ago. My nose was asymmetrical from the front caused by an injury, I had a bump, bulbous tip and a deviated septum that caused breathing issues.
I chose Prof. Palma because I was drawn to his natural, understated approach after research online.
I am extremely happy with the results. I have no bump, my nose is straight from the front, my tip was refined and I can breathe! The outcome looks so natural that it does not appear obvious I’ve had surgery. I look like me - exactly what I wanted.
There was very little pain. The first few days were the hardest in terms of discomfort, mainly due to the cast, tape, and not being able to breathe through my nose, but after the first week, when the cast was removed, recovery became much more manageable. I had little to no bruising, only some swelling in my cheeks. By 10 days after surgery, I already felt good, my breathing had improved, and I was confident enough to go out with friends and attend work meetings - it was not noticeable that I’d had surgery. The only lingering effect was limited smiling for just over a month, but that too resolved.
Prof. Palma is extremely professional, kind, humble, attentive, and very talented. He is patient in answering every question, makes you feel safe, and has a calm nature that put me and my family very much at ease both before and after surgery.
The changes were subtle, as I requested, but improved in all the right ways. With my wedding in 2 months, I had been anxious about the result, but I can now confidently say I have a beautiful, natural nose that enhances my features without changing my identity.
To have every single one of my issues resolved, while still looking like myself is both an art and a science, and worth every bit of the investment.
