I am hesitant to post this as my double chin has bothered me for years, but RealSelf was a big influencing factor in deciding to go through with it! So I hope you find this as helpful as I found others! Dr. Carlisle and his staff were very comforting, and efficient on surgery day. My results are amazing myself already! If I were to have any more work done I would definitely go back to him. He is also very reasonable compared to others locally. About 4 hours out from surgery, I am having relatively no pain. The biggest nuisance is my throat is sore from being intubated during the procedure. Other than that my chin/neck is a little tender! I will update as time goes on to show my recovery and final look!

Can you please let me know how long you need to take off work as you continuing recovering? Thank you in advance!
In my case I would recommend atleast 3 days after the surgery. I had bruising starting about day 4 and it was its worse around day 6 after surgery. Bruising is completely gone now and it has been 12 days. I took arnica before and after surgery to help with bruising. You should wear a head wrap for 7 days after surgery. So if u didn’t want to wear that at work then you would want to take the full week off.

Hello, just wondering did you get any lumps. I’m two weeks out and have these lumps. My doc said to massage it it still no real difference. Fingers crossed though
I did have a few lumps but they weren’t super noticeable! After about a month they were gone. I massages them a little, but they mostly went away on their own.
