I have had radiesse in my chin n loved the results so I went ahead w a chin implant, I've done a lot of research regarding the procedure, and narrowed down to 2 surgeons, a younger female doc that I has total trust with and extremely good rAport w, but she wanted to insert the implant through the mouth n I am not comfortable w this route bc I researched that would involved cutting n reattaching the mentalis muscle and it req extreme care bc the incision is very close the mandible nerves,
And scheduling was not good, so I went with dr, dejoseph, he has years of experience with facial plastic surgeries, very knowledgable, and there was a cute fellow shadowing him, so I felt like I had 2 MDs working on me! Awesome!! Dr. D does the underchin incision, and I am ok with that, no screw used, I wanted one tho bc I read it would stabilize the implant and cause less bone erosion, but dr, D assured me no screw needed and I trusted him,
