smart lipo revision update pictures
I am just 2 days post revision and am sore but no pain meds needed. I can see swelling starting to set in , when I took my compression garment off today it was bumpy and swollen I'm not going to worry about that I know it goes down in time and hopefully everything will shrink right back up. back area worries me, looks more loose and floppy than it did Originally hopefully it's just the swelling causing it to look like that.
I am wearing the white wrap they gave me and tight Spanx type garment for compression. It was approved my first procedure. I will wear the wrap for 2 weeks and just spanx after that. Will post more pics.

I had smart lipo mainly for my muffin top could never lose it. I am a 5'7" 155 lb mother of 3. My ideal weight is 140.
I am posting my experience in hopes of helping someone else.
My first procedure was not aggressive enough and left some areas lopsided (see other post) so I went back for revision yesterday and added my back. Total fat removed from both surgeries is 2 L. Revision was done 3-14 must say revision was not nearly as bad as first lipo procedure of course I only had 1/2 L removed in the revision as opposed to 1.5 removed in first procedure, and I took a volume second time to mellow me out and it helped! I am worried that the revision still isn't enough .. the abs were very uncomfortable the second time It felt as if I could feel him scraping by the muscle but everything else was fine. I felt good i even cleaned house when I got home went out to see a band.. etc not at all like my first procedure where I was down for 2 days.
I did not research beforehand like I should have, I went to "clinic" and not a board certified plastic surgeon. I think I may have been a better candidate for a tummy tuck . I was awake for procedures and it was the freakiest thing i have ever been through. The only way I can describe it is it feels like you're being carved out like a pumpkin.
I unfortunately didn't find this site til after my procedure and had questions. Im pretty sure I would have done it different if I had it to do over again. I feel I could have had better results with one procedure at a much better cost. I would have traveled out of state as ohio has higher costs for liposuction.
I must admit that I am nervous about outcome from the revision and will post pics soon. I am saving my Dr review until I see results for revision as that is only fair. However the staff was excellent I love Barb, she is such a sweet heart!

Thanks for sharing. Your pumpkin carving analogy gave me chills. Definitely keep us posted on the revision healing. Did the same doctor do the revision? Can't wait to see your pics.
