This was the best thing I ever have done for myself. I am so happy with the results. I love putting my pants on and not having extra skin to tuck in. Dr. Husni has been amazing through out the year in regard to making sure all is well. I have a little extra skin around my belly button which I prefer not to have and he will be removing it in his office next month. I am thrilled with every part of my experience and results!

16 days out and I am astonished
I am thrilled with my progress and I am exceeding my own expectations. My swelling continues to decrease on a daily basis, I can cough and sneeze with only a minimal twinge and I can belly laugh with no problem. I am wearing my friend the binder religiously and only take it off to shower. I found a pair of Spanx thong high waist compression garment and have worn it twice when I needed a sleeker look in my clothes. I tried on my favorite jeans with the binder and they fit. I have not gotten on the scale as was suggested by someone on Realself. I walk a lot, do bi-cep curls and tricep kick-backs while seated. I am back to my energetic self and love watching my progress. I love the new connected muscles and my cute BB. I have a follow-up appointment with my surgeon today and look forward to hearing what he says and seeing if he will be taking off my silicone tape today. I truly am pleased and so early in my post-op!

Babyca, have you had any work done by Dr. Husni? Are you planning a TT?
I am scheduled to have BR surgery in 3 weeks.. you were the first person who shared results w/pic for Dr. H. I feel a lot more confident about the process after seeing your results.
I am truly impressed with his skill. I have used other PS in the past, and he is now my go to Doctor for future procedures. I wish you great success. As I am sure you heard from the RealSelf site, if you follow Docs suggestions for recovery, you will heal much faster. And, don't over do it for awhile. I went to the Cavs game on Friday night and ended up pretty swollen from the jumping and screaming and standing on my feet for hours. Also, he suggested a Lymphatic Massage and I am going to get one early this week. I have never had one, but I will try it.

12 Days Post Op
First, I must mention that I have been up and running since Tuesday which was 8 days post op. I had great energy, put make-up on, drove my children to school and went on with my day. I took a little nap in the later part of the afternoon but was on my game. Yes, I have been swollen and uncomfortable but every day has gotten better and I am able to move much easier than the day before. Most of my swelling is beneath my BB and where I had my flanks lipo-ed. The garment is not pretty, but it is my friend and I feel okay in it, I just can only wear my leggings and big tops. Today I am going to try on the thong Spanx I purchased. We shall see. By the way, I still have the silicone tape on my scar, but the scar looks small and straight as well as even.
