I am currently waiting on surgery scheduled with Dr. Feng on June 17. I believe I have experienced an autoimmune response to my allergan silicone implants. It started a couple of years ago, hair falling out and joint pain and inflammation with weight gain, dry eyes, ringing in my ears, sensitive to cold, and the worst is extreme fatigue. I am hoping these get better if I remove my implants. Although I am very nervous about the outcome aesthetically, I am trying to focus on my health these days. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear from you.

I am also seeing Dr Feng june 10th for explant. My implants are silicone and 33 years old. I feel the same emotions that you have voiced here. Mine have ruptured. I must travel from the West coast to Ohio. I feel I have done my home work and chosen the perfect surgeon! Good luck to you.

Hey Paradisestx! I'm getting more nervous as time draw nears. I just hope to feel like myself once again. Is it safe to take collagen before surgery? I ordered some last night with some bust cream. Hope all goes well with you!!! See you in Cleveland!
I started taking collagen, figured it wouldn't hurt. BUT I stopped a a couple of weeks ago because we cannot take any supplement 2 weeks prior surgery only the vitamins provided by Dr.Feng. what time I'd your surgery? I'm so nervous too but excited to get this done. Are you gett a lift?

Yes I would like too. I don't think I'll be happy with the outcome without one. But I'll let Dr. Feng have the final say so. I think my surgery will be after yours.
I've been debating for a long time whether I should have a lift or not. I think I will wait for a few months before I decide on that but I am scared of the outcome as well. I'll just be patient and see what happens. I will have surgery at 6:30 am. Do you live in Cleveland or are you traveling there?
We will be traveling from Bella vista, Arkansas. It's a 13 hour drive but felt like that was best since we don't know when the drains will come out.
Yeah I wasn't to sure one mines will be out either so I'm staying for 2 weeks. My Mom is coming with me. I'm traveling from the US Virgin Islands so long travel for us as well.
Thinking of you and sending good thoughts. You will be glad you made the trip. Wish we could have driven, it took us 22 airport hours to get home. Home now and happily healing.
