Lipo Correction with Fat Transfer. Cleveland, OH

A little over a year ago I got a tummy tuck and breast lift with Dr. Green. While very pleased with the beautiful results, I had some residual fat in the flank area and on my hips near the scar. I always intended to return to Dr. Green for liposuction retouching in these areas but instead made the mistake of going elsewhere. I have received treatments and facials at a cosmetic and laser medicine practice near me. The Dr. that practices at the facility is professional and well trained in laser treatments and other types of cosmetic correction. They advertised for sometime the new Sciton laser skin tightening with lipo and cellusmooth. I was really intrigued by the skin tightening and set up a consultation to further discuss. I was told I was a good candidate and the extra fat on my flank and high hip area could be easily corrected, and after seeing a girl who received the treatment in the office at 3 months post op, I decided to set up a time for the procedure. It went pretty smoothly, I was awake and it was pretty painless. I liked the improvement but noticed there had still been small amounts of fat left behind on either sides of my scar. This became more and more frustrating as time went on. Three months ago I went back for further correction and ended up with too much fat being removed on my right hip. It looked awful and was embarrassing, I couldn't wear anything remotely form fitting. I like to think that I am not that vain but this was truly upsetting and emotionally taxing. I went back for a follow up and the response was to fill the area with Sculptra (a filler that creates collagen over time). This was not a satisfactory solution for me, in fact I thought it was somewhat bizarre. I am getting married in 5 months and the thought of looking like this in my dress and on my honeymoon was unacceptable to me, so I did what I should have done from the beginning and scheduled a consultation with Dr. Green. My surgery was January 7th and I am already thrilled with my results. Its really more than I even expected. Please make sure that whomever you should choose for any type of liposuction is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and has plenty of liposuction experience. I found out the hard way that it isn't about the equipment but all about the experience and techniques of the surgeon.
