I just hated looking at myself in the mirror. 3 friends had the procedure done and they both looked so much better after it. My husband of 38 years died after a lengthy illness and I was his caregiver. I could not have done this while he was ill. Taxes1 story was encouraging. This was my reward.

Thanks so much amanda. As you can see I had a bunch of bruising at first. Not sure why I didn't continue to take photos at least for the first week or two, but guess I didn't. Stitches were removed after 5 days. I bought a yellow concealer to minimize the bruising and just wore makeup over it. Sandy

Thanks Cindy for your condolences. He had a stroke in 1990 and his health deteriorated the last few years. Cindy, thanks for your comments! I would recommend this surgery for anyone who feels they need it. I didn't know how BAD I needed it til seeing the before and afters!

Your eyes look fabulous! Wow! Is your lower incision external? That's what my PS proposes and I've been looking for scars lol. Congrats on your eyes, so sorry for your loss though :(

Hi Southern, Yes, it is a lower incision right under the eyelashes. Originally I was only going to get the uppers done, but a friend talked me into both. And it was cheaper that way too.......altho nothing cheap about it.

You look very good. Your eyes look natural, not pulled or "surprised" I would love to have my lower lids done but I have chronic dry eye. I am too afraid that the surgery would make my eyes even drier. I don't think I could take it.

Sunand Moon........love that name! Thank you for your comment! I do understand about dry eye tho as I do recall having a minor dry eye for awhile. It has gone away tho. That is definitely worth a discussion with your doctor.
