Last week I had a small infection on the inside of one nostril due to a stitch. I called Dr. Goldmans office and they got me in that day. He assured me it was minor and started me on Kelflex. The infection is now gone. He also assured me that the swelling will go down in time. I am just so impatient.
It has now been a little over two weeks since my rhinoplasty The swelling is diminishing more each day. I am starting to see the shape of my nose and I love it. It is a scary process but I am so happy that I went though with it.

Thanks for the update :) my surgery is tomorrow!!!! Yay and yikes! Do you have pictures to share?

Sorry I am debating on wether I want to post pictures. I haven't told everyone about my surgery. Not sure I want to put the pictures "out there". I did want to share my experience. Good luck to you! I would recommend being patient. It takes time to see results. I read your review....I also like instant gratification. Also I was shocked that the swelling started around my nose then dropped to my jaw. It wasn't extremely painful but I didn't realize that swelling drops. If this happens it is normal. Good luck :)

Hi how is your continued healing going? :)
April 16, 2012
Thanks for checking. My healing is going great. It has been close to a month. I had a follow up appointment today. My doctor advised me to massage the tip of my nose. I have thin skin but still have a lot of swelling in the tip. He said it can take months for all the swelling to go down. I love my profile...no more bump! I can also breathe so much better! I looked at your pics and you look amazing...love the profile.

Hi Laurrieanne
I have a question. So if you can recall, did you see a lot pf differences between 3 weeks and where you are now? 1.5 months? I am just over 3 weeks and there might be slight changes but not a ton...Also di you develop any little bump like things on the bridge one day gone the next?
Hope you're well and super happy...I still would love to see your pics....you could send them to me privately?

I have noticed a big difference. The swelling in the top of my nose has went down a lot. I still have swelling on the tip. I am a runner so any activity causes it to swell which is normal....and will eventually stop. Most people can't tell it's swollen. Although my nose is still very swollen compared to my before pics. At three weeks looking back at pics there was not a big change for me. I didn't have little bumps on my bridge but it seems like my nose changes a little everyday. I don't mind sending pics privately. I normally use my iPad and the pics are on my pc. When I have time this weekend I will send them. Hope all is well for you. I will have to check out your posts I haven't been on in a while.

Hello I'm in the Cleveland area and was wondering what other doctors did you think of going to before Goldman? So many good doctors to choose from its hard to decide

My cast and stints came out yesterday. I couldn't believe how big the stints were. My nose is still really swollen. I am concerned because it looks crooked. I called the office today and they said it could be from the swelling. I have to wait at least a week for some of the swelling to go down. I am really scared that it might stay crooked. One side looks completely different from the other. So it might look crooked because one side is more swollen than the other. On a positive note I can breathe better and my profile looks great.
