2 day post procedure of Left Flank
So it looks worse than it is. I'll tell you that I do bruise super easily all the time. I do have sensitive skin. I did not bruise at all on my abdominal area. I was told bruising is much more common on the flanks. It's still pretty sore to the touch but no numbness.
L flank Procedure
So today I had my left flank done. I would have had both done but the machine didn't like my right flank. The applicator was on my right side for about 5 minutes then I noticed it wasn't cold anymore, a few minutes later the machine beeped that there was an error. When the nurse came back she started it over and reapplied. Well the same thing happened a second time. The nurse told me it's due to my skin getting too cold or not cold enough. I guess they can only try twice then you have to reschedule, so I'm going back in 2 days for my right.
So the left flank was the typical procedure, cold at fist but gets numb after 10 minutes. It wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as the abdominal area. Of course, massage after was a killer, I seriously hate them. I felt a little sick to my stomach for a few minutes. As of now the area is red, numb and a little tender. I do have a little bruising which is normal.
