Young in Spirit "55" Year Old Woman!! Cleveland, OH

I am a 55 year old approximately 150 lbs at 5'6"height. I had heavy breasts with most of the weight on the side of my breasts. Had a previous reduction from another surgeon and it was fine, but age and menopause creeped up on me. I hated the extra side breast tissue and back flab. When I put on my bra the sides would spill out. I went to Dr. Leedy after my daughter had lipo on her legs, stomach and hip area. ( great job there too!) We consulted and agreed upon what I wanted to feel better about myself and more importantly to relieve the pain of having heavy breasts and what it was doing to my back and shoulder area. Surgery scheduled in January "15", went just as planned. Dr. Leedy was concise, and very conscientious , before, during and after surgery. I was extremely pleased and can now wear size medium tops with no bulges as opposed to wearing large tops that barely fit. Because of the amount of breast tissue taken from the side and the "back flab" the only downside is the incision on my back all the way across my bra line. It is a small price to pay for relief from back pain and to fit more comfortably in my clothes. I use Kat Von Dee makeup to cover up the scar when I wear an occasional backless dress. Works great!
