40 is the New 20!

Let me start by saying I am SO HAPPY with the results of my surgery, and the entire process from making a decision, to post-op to follow-up. I've been thinking about this for 20 years and had done a lot of prior research on surgeons, cost, and options. I wanted to be absolutely sure in who I chose because my case was a bit complicated in that I have an ICD implant. With the approval from all of my doctors, and Dr. Goldman's expertise, we agreed to the safest solution - saline implants with the procedure done in a hospital environment so that specialists were on hand. I also needed the ICD rep to come turn my device off/on. Although this drove the cost up (hospital OR vs. surgeon's on-site OR, device turn off/turn on), it gave me the peace of mind knowing I covered all bases and was in the best hands. The procedure was discussed in thorough detail with me- so I knew exactly what was going to happen Before I knew it, I was in recovery and already feeling excited! Dr. Goldman was there to tell me how everything went and answer any questions. He gave me after hour call access in case I encountered any issues, concerns or questions. He was very responsive to my questions over the first few days, and even made a special appt. for me to come in and discuss. Since then, I've gone in every 2-3 weeks for check-ups to make sure everything is settling nicely, scars are healing properly, etc. They say full results will come in 4-6 months, but honestly, I felt amazing from day 1 and it only gets better. Size is perfect for my body. I didn't even take any time off work! It couldn't have gone any smoother - and that would not be possible without the perfection of Dr. Goldman and his staff, as well as the staff at Richmond Heights hospital. I can't wait for swimsuit season and love the increased confidence I feel now that I have proportions! BEST CHOICE EVER. BEST DOCTOR EVER!!
