Getting an Explant After 28 Years of Implants. They Have Gotten Hard and Can Be Painful.... - Cleveland, OH

I have been thinking about this for at least the last 5 years if not longer. I have 28 year old implants above the muscle. I got them when I was 26 and am now 54. I was flat as a board, just had nipples which is why I wanted them in the first place. I endured plenty of painful comments in High school and kept waiting to develop but never did. I felt a lot of insecurity due to the fact that I was so flat chested. Everything went great for years after getting the implants, but after living in a Toxic Mold house I began to have a lot of health issues. After several years I was able to regain my health. What I have noticed though in the last couple of years is that I continue to have health issues that I have not been able to completely resolve. I have a lot of gut issues and have had to take antifungals over the last several years. I have pain in my extremities that I thought was due to dairy, but doesn't seem to go away. I have recently been losing a lot of hair, and that has been very concerning since before I had a ton! I have been going to a Lymphatic drainage massage therapist who has encouraged me to get the implants taken out. I have finally decided that I can't leave these things in here in any longer. I have been scared to think about what I will look like after the surgery, but my health is my priority. When I considered putting more in, I just knew I would wake up and cry if I did that because I know way too much about the toxicity of the implants! So I am having to face a lot of insecurities and lies I have believed about my self, and my self worth. I was/am concerned that my husband wouldn't be attracted to me anymore, but he reminded my that he loved me before implants. I am just struggling with believing that myself. Perhaps this is more about me being able to love myself without boobs, and truly embrace the way that God made me. I have been doing a lot of praying, soul searching, and trying to fill my mind with truth. I have been incredibly encouraged by each one of you who have shared your stories, thank you! I have found a lot of courage from each of you and your journeys. I am scheduled to have surgery in Ohio at the end of Dec. I believe I have found the best surgeon and take steps each day in faith that this is the best thing to do. Praying that I will be able to restore my health completely and be around for my sweet Grand babies.

I went to meet Dr Feng, and it went well. She suggested that I have some fat transfer done to help with scar indentations when I get the explant next week. I just read a terrible review from a women who had lipo and fat transfer to breasts in 2013 and has me scared to death. She said she has numbness and pain and has never been the same. Have any of you had reconstructive fat transfer done where she takes about 300cc's of fat and puts in breast to help with the indentations?? Please, I would love to hear your feedback!

Has anyone had a PRP reconstructive fat transfer with Explant? I would love to hear how that has worked out for others? Dr Feng suggested it to fill in the dents where there is some scarring from when I got implants. It would be taking around 300cc's of fat from abdomen and putting approximately 100 to 150cc's back into both breasts where the dents are. Has anyone had this done?
