So the last review I left was definitely a little disappointed. The swelling in my butt definitely had a ba-bam feature, if you know what I mean ;) and when it went down, I was worried. I nearly asked for a revision. But reflecting on this experience a year later, I wouldn't have done anything differently.

When I met with Dr. Leedy, he told me he couldn't give me Kim Kardashian because I'm not built for it, but he could give me a cute, proportional butt. The pictures he edited in my first appointment are actually smaller than what my butt looks like today! He under-promised and over-delivered. More than that, I knew my safety was his FIRST priority, and I feel like a lot of the Florida doctors with huge results are also the doctors that are seen with malpractice suits, liposuction burns, and unintended results. I never questioned that I would wake up exactly in the condition he promised.

Dr. Leedy was also diligent in looking after my scars, including the one on my neck from my allergic reaction to the medical tape from the anesthesia mask. Today, they aren't visible unless you know where to look (the ones on the front of my hips are still faintly there), and the neck scar is completely gone.

I feel confident in my body, which is what I really needed from this procedure. I have a feminine, shapely look to me, and I fill out a pair of jeans really well. When I look in the mirror, I often turn around to admire my cute, round booty, and I feel truly beautiful. Thank you, Dr. Leedy. Confidence is an incredible gift.

I wish I'd taken more pictures during the healing process but honestly I was a bruisey mess. I will say, my butt looks worse in these pics than irl but for some reason the light is hiding the slope of my upper booty and making it look flat. Still wish it had stayed just a liiiittle bit bigger.

Since it's been a while since I posted, I figure I'll do a quick recap with some pictures throughout recovery. After the first week, I was really happy with my results even though I looked pretty brutal. I went back to the doctor at a week and a half and had the last of my dissolving stitches removed. Shortly after, my abdomen bruising cleared up. During the past week, my thigh bruising healed but I developed a large lump in my chin. I've also had a couple painful lumps in my thighs, plus one in my abdomen. Fwiw the doctor has said nothing to me about lymphatic massage, but the nurse recommend using a rolling pin on lipo areas, so I've started on that. I will admit I've been lax on using my garment since week 2.

The worst part is that this week I really saw my butt shrink (it started to soften up a couple days ago so I'm losing the "swollen" booty). I'm still avoiding sitting, though the doctor said I could sit 30 min at a time this week.
