Booked surgery, gained weight, super excited!
So last year around this time I officially a started my journey of looking into surgeons and whatnot. I finally decided to go with Dr. Hedden in Birmingham Alabama. Since I live in the Cleveland Ohio area I will be flying down for his 3 day stay for breast augmentation surgery.
I wasn't nervous or anxious about this surgery until I booked my surgery date and paid my deposit a couple of days ago. I also conference called with my sister and mother (who will be coming down with me for the surgery) in order to find the best flights so I could buy the plane tickets the same day. I wanted to get those two things out of the way asap so I didn't have to worry about it.
My surgery is scheduled for March 15th! That's only 54 days away!
I did end up gaining some weight over the course of 2016. I gotta say, 2016 was a hard year for most everyone I know. I am now sitting around 135lbs which is not where I want to be. At only 5ft tall every single pound I gain is very visible and changes the way my clothes look and feel on me. Back in December I began hitting the gym again and have been going pretty consistently ever since. I'm hoping to lose at least a couple of pounds before the surgery.

I am currently looking into surgeons to perform my Breast Augmentation.
I am 5 ft tall and about 120 lbs give or take depending on the day. My rib cage is about 28 inches around, my waist is about 26 inches and my hips are about 36 inches around.
It has taken me YEARS to lose all of the weight that I've gained during my many pregnancies and now that most of the weight is gone I am unhappy with how saggy and little my breasts are.
I have 2 children though I've had several miscarriages. I'd say my body has been through a lot.
In the future I plan on getting a Mini Tummy Tuck if it is necessary and Rhinoplasty. Both of these procedures need more thought though. My belly looks fine when I am standing straight but as soon as I bend just a little it turns into a mess of saggy wrinkles, lol. My nose has the hereditary Cherokee hump on it and is very slightly crooked down towards the tip. The crooked bothers me straight on and the hump bothers me from my profile view - I can't win. I am looking into the non-surgical nose jobs being done with fillers now days but I am not sure if it'll be worth it or not.
Anyhow, for my Breast Augmentation I plan on getting 500 ccs, under the muscle, crease incision. I am not sure whether I want them high profile or ultra high. Whichever surgeon I choose will help me with that. I love reading all of your stories here in RealSelf and I hope to make some friends.
I will update this as my journey progresses.
