Since I was a teen, I hated my labia minora. It...
Since I was a teen, I hated my labia minora.
It was so long (about 6 and 7cm) that I wouldn't wear a pajama without a pantie (would go on leg and hurt), I couldn't sit long in same position.
I couldn't have sex, but that's more psychological.
So I went to see a surgeon, and since it was a real problem, all cost were taken in charge by health insurance (46euros, but it's way more when not taken in charge, if is longer than 4cm it's medical reason).
It was about 10 days ago, I didn't finish healing, and even tho I got mild wound separation on one, I'm glad I've done it. I guess I will be more relieved in a few weeks.
For the 5 first days it was really painful, I had to take pain killers, I couldn't wear jeans.
I didn't expect that and I'm glad I insisted to have a document not to go to work for 2 days.
I wish I had known it before, I was told it was painless, but it's not, it's extremely difficult to perform regular stuff.
I'll update later, because healing is still in process.

3 weeks post op
It looks better, I still cannot swim, and it has that wound separation.
But I'm glad I've done it.
It will get better I think because it's been only 3,5 weeks.
I can wear jeans, any panty I want, I'm less bothered by it. And I hope in 3 weeks I won't be bothered at all in everyday life.

1 month post op
It looks good, the scar can be seen but it's inside. The labia have a normal size.
The wound separation almost closed itself, in a couple of weeks I hope it's fully closed.
I've no regret upon that surgery.
But it's not a minor surgery.
If you do it for minor cosmetics reasons, think twice.
