In two weeks I'll have an upper and lower blepharoplasty with a brow lift and a little lasering done under my lower eyes to help with the crepeness of the skin I do need a lower face lift with my neck worked on, but financial and recovery wise I can't do that at this time. I'm a landscaper so I do a lot of heavy lifting and I cannot afford a lot of downtime. I'm going to start taking bromilin and now and arnica a week before.

Hi. We are almost the same age! I'm 57. I had a lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning two years ago and couldn't be happier! My PS told me that an upper blepharoplasty would not help me. He said that what I needed was a brow lift because it was my brows that were falling and not my upper lids. At the time I could only afford the lower blepharoplasty, but I do plan on having a brow lift as soon as I can save up enough money. I would also like to have a lower face lift to get rid of my jowls, but I'm not sure I want to be recovering from two invasive surgeries at once... and also the added expense. I may have to do the face lift at a later time. I can't wait to follow your journey. Do you know what kind of brow lift you will be getting? Thanks, Lee.

Hi Lee I'm getting an endoscopic brow lift I didn't know I needed it I thought I was just getting the upper bleph but he explained that my brows are too low and I still need the upper bleph but I'll have less skin removed once my brows are repositioned . Kids playing there is five little areas that they go in at the hairline and then they will be staples there. He said staples are better than stitches because the hair will grow back and you won't say anything he has seen people that have had stitches and their hair did not grow back in a little spots of baldness. Then there are these two or three tacks there that are under the skin and it will be like little bumps that dissolve on their own over an 8 months. He said I would not notice them unless I rub my hand over them I wouldn't feel them unless I bumped one. He said the stitches from the bleph are removed in one week and the staples are removed at 10 days. Like you I have to divide all this up for downtime and financially and like you a lot of invasive procedures at once do not appeal to me one of the gals that works there had a brow lift and the lower face lift and she looks 20 years younger than her age it's amazing.

Thanks for the info. I'm interested in the endoscopic brow lift too. The brow lift is the procedure that concerns me the most. I certainly don't want to lose any hair or have a higher hairline. My hairline is high enough. Lol. My ps may suggest a lateral Brow lift for me. We'll see. What I've learned from this sight is that is doesn't really matter which procedure is done. Ultimately it is the skill of the surgeon that really matters. I can't wait to watch your progress! Lee.

Hi everybody I was surprised at the amount of pain I was in when I woke up especially from the laser and the incisions with the endoscopic incisions are particularly at the temple area I hope my talk to text comes out okay as I cannot see well everything is very blurry with the amount of aquaphor on the laser area I can't see. I slept at about four hour intervals with my husband getting up to put the compresses on the laser area aquaphor and give me pain medicine which I've been doubling up on.. I'm supposed to go back today to the doctors to have the bandages changed and my hair washed I'll check in later
