My BA process went extremely fast, which I'm very thankful for considering the long wait would have driven me crazy. Plus, I already knew what doctor I was going to use so I didn't have to spend much time shopping around. I had my first consult on Friday and my surgery the very next Thursday. Even after trying on the various sizes multiple times, that was my only concern. As most people would, I wanted them to be the right size for my body. I stand 5'7" and weigh about 125 pounds with a rather small frame. After a lot of thought and going on an emotional roller coaster, I decided on 500cc silicone. As of right now I'm 3 days out and feeling pretty good. Yes, of course I am still sore, but am trying to do a little at a time so my muscles don't stay/become stiff. I have actually learned that the busier I dtay the better I feel. I just take small breaks periodically to rest my entire body.

That's great you were able to have a "quick" experience with your BA procedure. I have heard other women complain about the wait. Glad you're taking small breaks and rests too! Your body needs the time to heal! ;) Do you have anyone helping you during your recovery? Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us on RealSelf.

My husband has been amazing! Along with my 11 year old daughter! Although, I do have to admit I'm very independent, so I've really tried to do a lot on my own, but they won't let me. At first my husband would help with getting my shirts on and making sure my medicine got on my incisions. Of course both of them have helped with carrying everything that I can't lift or just regular house chores.

Moving Right Along

Shewil
Well, it's been 5 days and I feel GREAT! Yes, I still get tired at times, but with 3 kids that is not surprising --- thank goodness my husband is AWESOME! Plus, I truly believe that moving around has helped my soreness. Although I'm still in the post op bra I can already tell I'm going to love my new tatas. Now that I've been through the process, I realize all my anxiousness before my surgery regarding my size was really unnecessary.

I would love to help anyone that has questions or concerns.

One Week Post Op

Shewil
It's been a week and things are going fantastic! Actually slept on my back last night and was able to get up without excruciating pain in my tatas. I can definitely tell the swelling is going down around my breast and midsection. In addition I feel like the bloating in my stomach is going away. I have my one week follow up tomorrow, so we'll see what the doctor says. :)
