Changing to last aligner today!

I’ve been on this journey for nine months and I am quite pleased with the progress made with my teeth. Change doesn’t usually come immediately, it takes sometimes time and patience. I’m glad I didn’t quit and just took it one day at a time. My teeth, smile, and confidence has changed for the better and this has been a worthwhile investment.

Alligner 14!!!

Hi all, I’m in my last set of alligners before I get my retainers. I can’t believe the transformation that has taken place and I’m glad I went through this to get these results. I have definitely changed my eating and drinking habits throughout the journey and it has helped me become more aware. I’m also more aware of teeth hygiene.

Do you have an update after you completed everything and got retainers? Did you teeth remain corrected or start to move back since it was over such a short period of time?

Hi - sorry for the one month late reply, just checked the website now. So, after completing the 14 aligners, they reviewed my teeth and it seemed like a couple teeth were still misaligned so we had to get another set of trays. I was given another six trays and now I am about to start my last tray today. So to recap I had 14 aligners plus another six aligners, so that is 20 aligners in total. I will be starting aligner 20 today and in a couple of weeks will visit my dentist to give the final review and hopefully order my retainers.

Thank you for the update. Since you ended up having to do additional retainers to finish the correction did they charge you more than your original amount? was it $3000 in total?

Hi - Nope, they didn't charge me extra thankfully! I even asked if they would, and they said since it was their fault that they didn't take into consideration ALL the misaligned teeth, then it would be no cost to me. BTW, I'm getting my retainer this week! During that appt, they will remove any final engagers on my teeth, take pictures, look things over one more time, and then give me the retainers. So excited to be done with this!

My teeth are looking straighter and straighter and I have only 2 more sets of alligners to go!! I can’t believe my teeth have moved this much in such a short time and I’m sooo glad they did. It hasn’t been an easy ride but it sure has been worth it to see my whiter, straighter teeth AND also lost some weight too!
