This morning I tried on this bathing suit. I bought it 2 years ago and have never worn it. My hope was that the suit would fit, and it would help me look past the frustration of still having drains 4 weeks post op. It did!!

21 days with drains

I was waiting to post an update until my drains came out. Yet, here I am, 21 days post op, and my drains are still in. My next appointment is 5 days from now. This is so frustrating. I keep telling myself that my c section recoveries were longer, and I let myself be patient there. Still, I have energy but can't do anything! I'm still only allowed to move with purpose. The good news is that I only take 1 tylenol every 4-6 hours! My pain level is really low. Mostly, its the drain sites that make me uncomfortable.

Day 10, feeling good.

Today is day 10 post op. I feel great, barely sore, and I have a ton of energy. Saw my PS. I'm still on very restricted movements because my drains are still giving a lot of output. Yep, still have the drains for a while. They took out the stitches in my bellybutton and cleaned my incision. Everything looks and feels great. I actually drove myself there (with my parents in the car). That was liberating!
I am in a medium garment!! It fits perfectly, and the nurse said I may end up needing a small before I'm done. I'm thrilled with my size now, and I'm apparently going to keep shrinking! Woo hoo!!

Congrats. Enjoyed following your progress. I have a similar post-pregnancy tummy, and go in for a Mommy makeover in 2 weeks AAAHHH! Breast Reduction and Tummy tuck. My incision will go into my back some and while I'm super excited, I am also VERY SCARED! It's just a lot of wounds!

Anywho, look forward to your updates. Congrats again!
