Hello everyone I have been stalking this site for sometime and I decided to post about my recent decision to have surgery to fix my body. I am having a tummy tuck with liposuction of the bra line and flanks. I am soooo nervous and have so many mixed emotions about it. Any encouraging words would be greatly appreciated. I am a fairly new RN and while in nursing school I gained 20 pounds and I swear it just went to my stomach so I decided to change my eating habits (which I'm still working on) but to have my pouch removed surgically removed. A lot if people have something to say but It's my decision and I just pray I'm making the right one. Well its less than 2 weeks everything is paid for I have most of my items just waiting on my recliner so any one that has been through this roller coaster and want to share something please let me know. Oh yeah I am from Cincinnati Ohio and am having it done here

Hello I am glad about this site I live in Cincinnati ,Ohio my self glad to see your review I have been to Dr. McKenna and they all are so nice and helpful when me and my husband went to my consultation this was my third time going to him talking about my tummy tuck and then this time I added on a breast lift I am hoping for this coming June 2017 to be getting my procedures done I'm glad to see that everything went well for you just want to know did everything go as well as you expected because . I have to admit I am getting kind of nervous but I'm staying positive and all of these great positive reviews have been a big help just thought to ask you some questions since you have saw the same doctor and wanted to know how did everything go on the day of your surgery . He was so upfront with me at my consultation because I basically have worked out and do work out but I have been developing rashes under my hangover belly that is not going anywhere from me having two C-sections and he pretty much told me it's not going anywhere no matter what amount of exercise I do . I just need to be healthy and get this excess skin off of me so I don't develop other medical issues as people do with hanging skin .

So I am 8 days away from my surgery and my emotions are going crazy any positive advice would be greatly appreciated. I am ready f for my new body but really am trying to get ready for this pain. Please pray for me. I'll put some recent pics later

My surgery Is tomorrow morning I am a little frustrated trying to get everything in order with my family But I'm eager to stay calm I am going to upload some pics before please RS ladies pray for me and any tips are greatly appreciated
Hey girl welcome to the community. Don't mind what others say, this is a personal decision and only your business. Everyone always has comments. How long are you able to take off work for recovery?
A month is great! Nursing shifts are tough because they are so long and you never get any down time on a shift. See how you are feeling the week before you are scheduled to go back. If you are still struggling you could always request to work part time that first week back.
