WORTH IT$400
I bought 5 salicylic peels at a dermatologists office, and I have done 4 in about a six week period. 20-30% strength.

I would just go on Amazon and buy some of the solution and do it myself if I could go back. It's pretty easy to do and the solution costs $30 for 30% strength.

My acne is mostly gone and my fave is healing. I'm actually pms-ing in the after pics so my skin will look even better a week from now.

Hi, do you put anything to numing cream to avoid painful stinging, I'm very intolerant of pain on my face. I tried 25% for less then a minute on part of my face and I just could not handle it. What do you do for pain?

I am sensitive as well. I do small portions of my face at a time bc the burning only lasts for a minute. I blast my face with the blow dryer as well, which really helps. Just take your time and maybe do one fourth of your face at a time and blast the cold or hot air from the blow dryer on it! Hope this helps :)

Hi I have a salicylic acid 30% by MTY London ... It was given to me by my friend but I'm not sure exactly how to use it - my friend says to put on tiny amount with cotton pad and wait 30 secs then wash with cold water - is this right ? And what is the after care ? Thanx Hanorah x

Hey, how did it go? I'm looking for tips on applying this stuff?

first you need to prepare your skin with a pre peel gel or lotion, for salicylic acid to work you need to change ph of your skin and pre peel with mandelic acid for example can do that for you otherwise salicylic acid may not work. The common mistake is to apply acid to face washed with soap as this create different ph to what you need for that treatment. Next apply your salicylic aid with brush, there are special kinds of brushes for applying masks etc that you can buy. If you do it with your fingers it will peel the skin of them. You then leave it on for 1 minute if it's your first time and add 1 more minute every next treatment. How long can you leave it on will depend on your skin type and whether you have had chemical peels before. After you need to apply neutralizer to where skin was treated to stop peel from working, it could be shop bought blend of aha and pha acid complex or just a bit of bicarbonate soda mixed with water, leave it on for about a minute and rinse with cool water, apply good moisturiser. Your skin will respond to chemical treatment by peeling itself to shed burned skin and reveal brand new shiny one this can take up to one week but results well worth it

Hey,
I'm about to buy an at home salicylic acid peel. Since you have had it done professionally have you got any tips? I'm only going to be using a 10% solution. Do you have to stay put of sunlight before and after?
