I hope the swelling goes down soon....I still have drain in until Monday. Still at about 25 cc ....but rather have the fluid coming out than staying in right????? I'm hoping to return to work next week.....I'm at a law firm so not much lifting etc.....

I had my drains in for 9 days, so that sounds about right. Be prepared to be tired when you return to work even if you sit at your desk all day. I was surprised how exhausted I was, but I guess the body uses all its energy to heal. Try to eat protein for breakfast in the morning to help your energy level. How are you handling all the kids while you are healing? My kids are all grown and on their own so I cannot imagine if you still have little ones at home.

I have been home for a week not doing much lying in bed ...t.v. movies...I was feeling pretty good thought OK it's been a week I need to get out of this house......omg....drove 30 min away to casino thought I could sit and enjoy myself for a little while....I had to leave my back never hurt this bad!!!! I'm home took motion 800 watching ellen.....When I thought about it I really haven't sat for longer than 30 min to eat....then back to laying down.....Holly crap!!!! My kids are 25 he's in Florida working for 3 weeks.....22 has own place and new baby 2 weeks old....19 daughter left today to visit my family in alabama...18 daughter working....13 daughter...cheer and friends 11 daughter friends....it's spring break this week and my little one is 5 and I swear he acts like he's 90......loves to be home in his compfy ....cozies!!!!!! My husband does the cooking....he's much better at it than I am and he enjoys it!!!!! I clean up after him so we work well together ;) "not this week".....When you went back to work did you have a problem sitting??

I understand the back pain. It will get better soon so hang in there. It is a little difficult sitting because I am not in a reclining position, but I try to at least stand up every few minutes just to take a little pressure off my stomach. I am ready for the week-end to catch up on rest!! If your doctor has not recommended it yet, ask about a product called "Scar Guard". You put it on your incision every evening and it is amazing how quickly it smooths out and starts healing! It costs about $70 for a bottle but it will last forever and it is much better than Mederma and the other products out there.

I see my dr. On Monday to have drain removed....." thank goodness" what a pain in the butt.....I'll have to ask him then....I take 2000 vitamin c daily..... Cuts healing time in half....adds collagen to u r body.....plus other health bonuses. ....do you have before and after photos?

No photos yet. I will get the before from my doctor because he took plenty of them. I will try to get a recent photo to show progress to date but it would help to see the before. My changes are drastic!!!

That's awesome.....look forward to seeing them.....it's only been a week I already see a difference. ...but when did you really see some changes? I know I'm still swollen from lipo....and brused. Haven't tried any clothes on yet just in my leggings and sweats.....hopefully it's going to start worming up here.....so can shop for some cute things ;)

Actually, just in the last 2 days. I noticed today that I am really swollen from working all day and sitting straight in a chair. Going home, sit in my recliner and put my loose sweats back on and relax for the week-end! I have gone down 2 sizes in tops because I don't have to allow for tummy bulge!!!

I've always had to by bigger tops I'm top heavy 36dd.i had the worst time with bathing suites. ....Thank god they now sell separates! !!! I'm getting my drain out Monday hoping to return to work Thursday....that will be 2 weeks...I'm tired of being in bed and I think ive rented just about every movie on damand. ....I found a new app. Top hatter. ...auction....I've bought rings, coach purses. .... make up!!!! I can set reminder when it comes up for auction sometimes my phone goes off 3am......my husband said who's texting you at 3am I said my item is up for bid!!!!! I think he's scared ;) ;) lol

I actually went back to work on day 10, but I have a job where I can sit at a desk. Really no pain, but I was really tired by the end of the day. Probably from all the energy it takes to heal. I am so glad I had this done. I keep looking in the mirror at my flat stomach and can't believe how it looks. I never thought I would look like this again. Even with the swelling on the sides, I feel so much better about myself.
