I found Dr. Mendelsohn after searching for hair transplant specialists, specifically FUE, or Follicular Unit Extraction. I did not want the linear scar seen with short hair, so I opted for the slightly more expensive, yet preferable method of FUE. The procedure went as expected, taking one day in office. Recovery time was minimal with only a few days of discomfort - all worth the lasting effects of having your hair restored. The donor area still looks full and the recipient areas are filling in nicely after six months. I have a follow up in January and may have additional grafts transplanted to help fill out the thinning areas. No need for Rogaine anymore!
