I am 43 years and I'm a big fan of botox (used minimally for a mini brow lift) and Juvaderm. Prior to Juvedern Voluma going to market in January 2014 I heard about Exilis Elite from Dr. Gupta in Cincinnati. I went for a consult for skin tightening on the lower part of my face. She assured me that people had great results with Elixis Elite and that since I was just in the beginning stages of skin laxitity I would most likely be very happy. I thought $2600 for 3 sessions was very expensive but I thought if I could hold off on having a facelift until age 55 that it'd be worth it.
Don't waste your money. After I did not have ANY results the girl working in her office said that I was preventing future laxitity (a nice way of saying that they took my money for no results).
I really regret ever believing that something relatively easy would work to tighten skin. 6 months later I had a few syringers of Juvedern Voluma done by Dr. Jon Medelsohn and I am VERY happy with those results. Ladies, have your skin plumped up with Voluma, don't believe Exilis will help in the least.

Had 3 elixis treatments on my eye area and have seen absolutely no difference in before and after. A complete waste of money.

I'm sorry that you too had no results. I could have flushed $2600 down the toilet and saved my time driving to and from the appointments for all the good it did.
The girl at her office even admitted she saw no difference in the before/ after photos that they took.

Same thing for me. The nurse agreed that there was no improvement , then tried to claim there was a microscopic improvement in the area of fine lines next to the eyes. I am mad that I wasn't more assertive and asked for a credit toward Botox or something else....

me too! I wish I had the nerve to ask for a refund at least a partial. may I ask how much you paid. I paid $2600 for 3 sessions. I get sick when I think about what I could have done with that money. I do not have before and after pics because the doctor has them BUT I did get a nice plumping from Voluma from a boar certified plastic surgeon. I will NEVER go to Dr. Gupta MD again.

$1800.00 for 3 treatments. Thought it would be worth it bc it was done by a ps. No change, maybe more wrinkles under my eye! So mad I wasted my money.

I thought I had more eye wrinkles and a bigger bag under my eye too! I'm embarrassed that I fell for the con. Snake elixor might have done better.

I offer exilis elite and the problem with all the non surgical skin tightening instruments is a 30% failure rate. I tell my patients that unfortunately 30% will not see a result and of the 70% remaining about half will be thrilled and the other half will feel as if they got something for the money and unfortunately I can not tell which group you will be in. I do offer a repeat treatments if I have a non responder and at least we both feel as if we gave it our best.
