I had thought about chin liposuction for several years but never had the courage to follow through.
I am 53 and 135 lbs and the sagging skin on my neck made me look heavier than I was especially in pictures.
I finally found the courage, made the appointment and had the surgery. I am so glad I did.
It was accomplished in the Doctors office under local anesthesia.
There was very little pain during or after the surgery and after wearing the neck compression band for a little over a week I was out again among friends and family and even playing tennis.
It has been only six weeks and I feel like my neck looks so much tighter and my profile way more defined.
So glad I did it!

sorry for the personal questions, but without pics- how tall are you? I a trying to decide if this is what I should do? I am not heavy, but the sagging at my chin really bothers me. also, how long before you felt you looked normal enough for people to not notice anything after the surgery? thanks and good luck!

I am 5'5.
I would say two weeks. I was lucky enough to do the surgery right after Christmas so I was able to use turtlenecks and scarfs to kind of aide in hiding my recovery.
I did play tennis with my team at the end of the second week (with a little makeup to hide residual bruising) and the only comment anyone made was asking me how I lost weight over the Holidays!

I bet your so much happier. I'm 57 with loose skin on my neck also. I thought about liposuction, but if there's no fat there just skin. How would liposuction help? Would love to see before & after pics.
We'd love to see some neck/chin pics!
