40 Yo with Hereditary Double Chin - Cincinnati, OH

I went to Dr M based on a close friends recommendation. His staff was very nice and caring. The Dr was nice enough and very convincing liposuction would do the trick. I had very high hopes and scheduled the in office procedure.
The double chin(fat) is most definitely gone but have been left with sagging skin and banding around my neck. During my final post op visit I expressed my dissatisfaction. The Dr brought out my before and after pics and said it looked much better, which it did. But now instead of fat, I have the sagging. He seemed very uncaring about my concerns. The liposuction seems to have amplified the problem and the skin appears to sag even more. Now 4 years later, I am considering a neck lift. I feel this is what should have been recommended and done in the first place, given the amount of fat I had in my double chin. I did not do much research initially because I trusted my friends opinion and the Dr seemed so confident the lipo would correct my problem. I didn't know about this site back in 2009 when I was considering this procedure.
This Dr has so many wonderful reviews. His staff and office are top notch. Overall, I don't feel he gave me a very honest opinion for what would truly take care of my concerns and am now looking at shelling out another $5000 to have a neck lift.
