Chin Implant Takes Time To Heal! - Cincinnati, OH

WORTH IT$3,000
I did lots of research & wanted a chin & more defined jawline for a long time. I have an assymetrical face to start with so i was hoping to improve balance in bottom half. Lots of swelling & uneven swelling at that...i swore it was crooked cuz of a bump underneath. I called dr. Sent pics. He assured me it was just swelling. His employee said tuat if it didnt go down by next post op clvisit he could inject a steroid. So he did. After that it has been a lot more even. It's hard not to freak out, especially when you feel it & you dont know if you're feeling the actual implant or not! I did local anesthesia & while my eyes were covered i was asked by the dr if someone could video tape...while i said sure i would have liked to been asked before i took the loopy meds & my eyes were covered. Also he said he would give me Botox or something for letting him tale video..so of course i wanted that! But ot was never mentioned again. It is a big pet peeve of mine for someone to say they're going to do something then not! Especially being a professional. The receptionist did mention i would receive a complimentary microdermabrasion at my post op & we could schedule that my next visit...whic i wamted the botox not that...but was mever mentioned again either. All in all I'm very happy with the outcome of the surgery! For me it has definitely improved my jawline & definition!

I am thinking of doing it in Korea, is suggested my some of my colleagues. I do not have enough knowledge about its procedure. I want to know more about this. Is there anybody who had gone through this type of procedure and if you can see my post, please share you experience with me whether it is bad or good!

Very nice result. Your chin implant looks natural. Botox to the chin makes a huge improvement as well.

It looks amazing!!! A small change made such a big difference! I'm having a chin implant with revision rhinoplasty in October. Was there much pain the first few days? How did you decide on size? Did you have a choice? Also, did you take any supplements for bruising? Thanks!

I actually had read that bromeline from pineapple helps healing so i bought & cut up a pineapple beforehand. Thank you also! Size was decided after i told hin how i wanted it to look...i have a small chin pad with cleft & pretty tight skin there so that was taken into consideration. I got a small i believe...a difference of approx 2 or 3 millimeters. Where are you getting yours done? There was a little pain controlled with pain medication. I only recieved like 10 percocet and took them all but after they were gone i just tooj ibuprofen and it was fine. Some days it feels a little tight and some it doesn't. I'm a little over 2 months out and I LOVE it! Good luck with yours...definitely try to post about it. I would love to see how everything works put for you!

It's totally improved your profile :) does your chin feel weird when you touch it or does it feel more natural over time?
