Hi ladies I really need some advice and guidance! I am having a breast reduction on December 1st 2014 and I am scare of the pain and infection! I do not personally no anyone who has had it done . I am 34 years old I weigh 120 lbs and I wear a 34 ddd. I am so miserable it keeps me from doing a lot of activities. My surgeon is dr Vashi from the plastic surgery group in Cincinnati ohio. Please Please I just need someone to talk to!!

You will do great. I was extremely nervous as well and kept second guessing myself. " I want to have elective surgery,what's wrong with me". I had these thoughts daily. I am day 7 post op and have no regrets. Hardest part is resting. I normally work full time and have a 3 and 10 yr old girls. It's challenging to just sit relax all day. You'll do great. Waiting is the hardest part.

I would have posted before this but I couldn't find it back!! LOL Well anyway I thank you so much for responding I just had my last appointment with my ps yesterday before my surgery. That's what I do every day is second guess myself.

Well your not alone, I'm in the same boat as I think most people are. Best thing is to read a lot of journey's on here. Some had problems but a lot didn't. And since its pretty much a crapshoot near as I can tell you have to ask yourself how bad you really want it?

Ok I was right - just got an email. Insurance approved! My BR has to be done before the 31st of December. Is it time for a Panic party!!!!!
