How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

The day after surgery
These might be a little gory, so sorry. I have plastic bandages so I can shower. Not that I can just let the water run all I want. "Get in and get out" is what the nurse told me. Another huge advantage is that the skin around the incision is all taped together which should really help minimize scarring. Aslo, it's sealed from infection. The biggest downside is the itching which only started at about 1 week. Also, I'm not crazy about seeing bloody gauze every time I check out the ladies. Since I traveled quite a way to my surgeon, he put these on so I could wait 2 weeks before my first post op appt. Looking forward having the plastic bandage off but not looking forward to the process of taking it off. Next Wednesday is my 2 week and I'll let you know.
Had lift yesterday
I had my lift with implants yesterday. Not nearly as much pain as I was prepared for, very reasonable. I am staying on top of my pain meds. I have alarms on my phone to remind me every 4 hours. Around 3.5 hours the girls start grumbling but not so much that I can't wait the full 4 hours.
Here are a few tips that I got off this site that have been really helpful so far.
- Face wipes - you will not feel like hunkering over a sink. I got wipes specifically for my face.
- Wedge pillow - made sleeping propped up much easier.
- Grabbing tool - if you can't grab something with your elbows staying at your sides, you won't be able to get it after surgery. Get a grabber and practice using it.
I'll keep you updated. : )

I think I just threw up a little.
