8 months post op

I really love them. Best thing I ever did was getting them out after 15 years. :) they are touchable and soft and not super droopy.

It's is eight days post op. they look better every day. I am very pleased with them and know they are only going to get better. The have shrunk since my first photos as the swelling goes down. They are a little misshapen but that fetes better berry day. Also the drains I had caused some dimpling that went away after removal. I'm going to continue the sports bras for a couple months but going to buy a reg bra today for certain outfits. I'm very happy.

It's post op day 5. My incision site is still sore... And my breasts do ache, but the pain is far less than the implant. I get my drains removed in 3 days. I safety pun them to my sports bra. And I mad a lanyard out of a trash bag and pin the drains on that when I shower. Lol. One of the reasons I had them removed was because since this set was put in 1.5 years ago I have had fluid retention all over my body and a redness on both arms . Since the surgery the fluid retention has gotten slightly worse. So I know my breasts are swollen due to that. I don't know if my implants caused the swelling and rash. Ill wait and see if those things go away. As for my breasts, they look decent. There is a dent in my left breast across my nipple area, I'm assuming that was the pocket. Hopefully that will go way? And the bottom half of my left breast is tender and firm, where the right side is soft. I don't have any before picture... But here is 2 day post op. to me they look big, but I think it's the swelling. Ill update Friday after my follow up.

Hi Ladies. So I went to my follow up today. Things are healing nicely. I know you may think im nuts but since I am a nurse and I have had three sets of drains, I actually pulled my own out yesterday. i wouldnt recommend it, but since i am a nurse and they were less than 10 cc a day of fluid and they were bothering me i did it. it hurt...but I have a high pain tolerance. lol. anyway, after the appointment I went to the mall. I have been cooped up for a week and i needed to get out. I did a bra fitting at nordstroma and to my surprise I am a D cup? The sure dont fook like D's. It might have to do with my swellin under the arm pit. One of my breast is smaller than the other too. but always has been. I tried on 1 dozen bras and found a great one by chantell. Ill buy more in a few months. anyway... over the next few months I will be hoping my general body swelling and rash go away. Im going to do a green juice fast this weekend to cleanse my body too. To anyone considering explantation I say just think about a few things: ~Dont let any MD say you will be deformed if you dont replace it them. Your breast should look the same shape as before you got them. But they will be less full of course. give it six months after explant if you want a lift. ~Drains are not bad...just awkward. Pin them to your sports bra, and when you shower pin them to a plastic lanyard. I even made one out of a small garbage bag. ~follow your instincts. I got so tired of hearing "the literature says there is no eveidence that implants could be related to illness" screw the literature. I know my body. And an implant is a foreign object. Know that you are lovely AS IS. You are lovely as god created you! There is SO much more to life than perfect breasts! We buy in to societies ideas...You are on ths planet for a reason and it has nothing to do with your Boobs! :) I think of people who have real health issues and true deformities...droopy boobs is nothing...and they feel so much better than those hard fake balls. ~Dont be afraid. YOU CAN DO IT!
