This is something that I have wanted to do for a very long time. After years, literally years, of research and savings, I'm finally able to do it!
I've honestly never had "good-looking" breasts. They seemed to develop overnight when I was in the second grade. One day I was wearing a flimsy sports bra and the next day my mom was taking me to buy a 36D bra with an underwire from hell. My mother has always complained of having saggy breasts from the get-go, and that was my luck too. My mother was gracious enough to also pass down her unfortunate gene of huge areolas.
As I've battled with my weight throughout my life, my boobs have undergone some harsh transformations. At my highest weight they were around a 38EE, and at my lowest they were a 34B. As my weight has fluctuated, so have they. And now that I am at a steady weight, they are starting to look like an empty pair of tube socks. Not aesthetically pleasing whatsoever.
I met with 5 plastic surgeons, and have finally decided on Dr. Kurtis Martin! Out of everyone that I met with he was the most competent and down to Earth. He spent the most time with me and was brutally honest about some things that the other surgeons were not. Unfortunately, he is also the most expensive. But art doesn't come cheap, and that's something I knew coming into this.
My surgery is scheduled for June 8th! I will try to keep this updated with new information as it comes along, and answer any questions you guys may have.

Hello. Dr. Martin has performed three separate surgerical procedures for me and I am happy with the outcome. I am considering a forth procedure with him in the next year or two. All of the skilled surgeons are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for especially in this area. I think that you will be very happy with your decision. Please keep us posted.

I have the exact same breast shape and areola size. I've been contemplating getting this procedure as well. I've been scared of the scars and have been wondering if it's worth it. I also had weight fluctuations though out my life and has made them like tube socks too. I can't wait to see before and after photos. Good luck

Did you end up getting the procedure? If so, will you be posting updated photos with the results? Hope everything went splendidly.

Less than two weeks until my pre-op appointment!

My pre-op appointment is May 17th and every day I get more and more nervous! I can't imagine how I'm going to be closer to the actual surgery...
Right now I feel like I don't know anything! We haven't decided on an implant size and I haven't had the opportunity to show Dr. Martin my "wish boobs", but I keep reminding myself that these are all things that will be covered at the pre-op appointment.
Speaking of my pre-op appointment, I keep reading that I should have a list of questions to ask my PS at the appointment. While I have already made a small list of questions I would love to have some suggestions of questions to ask! I'm so overwhelmed that I'm sure I'll forget something.
I'm also trying to lose weight/get in better shape before the surgery but I'm a big stress eater, so that's not going very well! Lol.
I'm going to add some before pictures later on down the road. It's hard building up the courage to post a picture of your biggest insecurity to a website full of thousands of strangers. Yikes.

Pre-Op Appointment: DONE!
BoobEditsMay 24, 2016
I had my pre-op appointment on May 17th, and now I only have FIFTEEN DAYS until surgery! Ahhh!
The pre-op appointment was quick and helpful. Before pictures were taken by an assistant and the rest of the time was one-on-one with my PS. He went over the procedure and gave me more information about my implants. I'll be getting Sientra implants, textured, 250-300cc, under the muscle.
I'm most nervous about the size. We decided on 300cc instead of 250cc, but I'm still unsure. I am afraid my breasts will end up too big, but my PS says that most women end up wishing they went bigger. I've heard that 50cc doesn't really make a difference but I'm still uneasy!
Dr. Martin agrees there is a lot of work to be done on my breasts, but he is very confident that we will have a great outcome.
I'm hoping to lose 5 more lbs before the surgery, so that's what I'm trying to focus on instead of worrying!
Before pictures will be coming up eventually, I promise. Lol.
