6 years since my facial fat transfer

I saw some guy post that he was happy with his results - but no pictures?
Here's mine as of almost now 6 years since my facial fat transfer by Dr. Sadi Erfani in San Diego. Know that I am 30 pounds heavier since my girl does not care how I look (and neither do I). But I can still feel the fat pads under my eyes although I can see volume loss.
Maybe I should go for a facelift next?

Is it really coming on 5 years since my Facial Fat Transfer?
I just received a Real Self notification regarding a man whose 50, had a facial fat transfer and complained about looking too young (great problem to have).
It will be 5 years this November since I've had my procedure with Dr. Sadi Erfani.
Although, I don't get mistaken for someone in my 20's, it still boggles my mind when people ask my age, I reply and get surprised looks to be told that I look much younger (especially when I get a haircut).
I just wanted to post a recent pic so that for those considering this... Go and find an excellent doctor like mine. The procedure has been totally worth it. I still feel the 'fat pockets' under my eyes.
I'd also like to thank Real Self for being an outstanding forum to help direction.

Fat Transfer... Two and A Half Years Later....
I saw a comment here on Real Self and wanted to post an update since my fat transfer procedure with Dr. Erfani (awesome plastic surgeon) over 2 and a half years ago (going on 3)!!!
Anyone considering this may hear similarly in consultation that 'there is no guarantee as to how long the effects of a fat transfer can last as everyone is different'. For me, it was totally worth it. I know that some of the effects have subsided, but I can still touch the areas just above my cheeks and feel 'strong' pockets of fat that I think 'generated' that don't give me that bottom sunken hollowed look under my eyes. I still feel and look at least ten years younger than I am supposed to.

I had fat transfer under my eyes a month ago and I look like I have cried for days. Swollen pockets and still see tear troughs. How long did it take for things to normalize? I’m getting anxious that I have made it worse than better by doing this.
Honestly (I am NOT a doctor), I think after a few days you should have easily shown signs of recovery as the surgeon/doctor would have been using a micro needle to inject the fat.
What did your doctor say in follow-up (sincerely thinking that all has worked out and that you have achieved the results that you desire)?

Going tomorrow for 6 week follow up, swelling is less but tear troughs (which where my major issue about my sunken in tired look) are still there. Thought it was bruising but not sure. He used PRP with fat transfer. I guess I will find out tomorrow what he thinks. Thanks for your reply.
The practice would have taken before and after pics. Make sure you have those and compare then to the 6 week follow up to compare for noticeable differences. Best Always...
Yes they took before and after, under eyes some better on outer areas but still have very obvious tear troughs that are dark and prominent. So disappointing. Going in 3 weeks for last follow up and will discuss what can be done. Thanks! Glad yours worked out well.
