Incredible experience. Best patient care I've ever had. Dr Suporn pioneered this procedure and it is far superior to the penile inversion technique used in the US (and developed in the 1960's). Check out Dr Suporn's website in detail if you are considering having this done, all of the specifics are there. Best of all, you will stay in a hotel for a month with 20 other girls from all over the world who are having the same thing done and with whom you can share experiences and explore the surrounding area in Thailand. I feel like I have made lifelong friendships with TG girls from UK, Sweden, and other parts of the USA.

Greetings to everyone! Regretfully it has been a long time since I have posted anything on this site so this an update on my transition.
I began my transition from male to female in Feb. of 2012. Since then I have lived full time as a female, been prescribed female hormones, and have achieved all the necessary requirements for Genital Reassignment Surgery. After much research and a careful examination of the surgeons who perform this type of surgery I have selected Dr. Marci Bowers from California. Dr. Bowers and I had a phone conversation in Feb. of this year at which time she accepted me for male to female GRS. Soon after, her staff assigned me a surgery date of Oct. 5th. 2016. The waiting list at that time was 19 months and although certainly a long wait I was still thrilled to be accepted for surgery and to know for certain that my lifelong dream was finally going to come true! My wait is now down to "only" 10 months (303 days). That still seems a long ways away but the wait will be worth it far more than I can describe! I am on their cancellation list so there is a possibility that I could get offered an earlier surgery date. I would most certainly welcome that!
To anyone else embarking on a similar journey as mine, I wish them all the best and that their dreams will also become reality.

This has certainly been an interesting and thrilling journey I have been on the past 4 years! The GRS won't be the end of my journey but a highlight of my continued transition to womanhood. I wish all those embarking on a similar goal the very best for them.

Hi there... thank you so much for the information. I have made the decision to proceed with my plans for GRS and am currently in the stage of selecting a surgeon. I am leaving open the option of traveling to Thailand to have my surgery performed there. I have read many reviews of Dr. Suporn's work and I am impressed with what I have read about the level of satisfaction that others are receiving from this surgeon. Your information is most helpful and I will take it into consideration when I make my selection. Thanks and I wish you the best in your new life as a transgendered woman.
